On July 26, Prime Minister Justin Trudeau undertook the biggest revamp of his cabinet since coming to power in 2015. About 80 per cent of ministers were affected by the shuffle in some way. Trudeau promoted seven backbench MPs to replace seven ministers four of whom were not re-offering while three others were dropped. The Hill Times photograph by Andrew Meade
The Hill Times: Some backbench Liberal MPs ‘livid’ with Trudeau’s cabinet shuffle, say PMO ‘couldn’t have done a better job at undermining caucus morale’
It’s not unusual for passed over MPs to be unhappy after a cabinet shuffle, says senior government relations consultant Greg MacEachern.
Prime Minister Justin Trudeau is facing a serious blow black for the July 26 cabinet shuffle from some passed-over Liberal MPs who believe the promotions of seven backbench colleagues to the front bench were not merit-based, and the PMO “misjudged and misplayed the whole thing completely.”
“I am livid,” said one Liberal MP who spoke to The Hill Times in a not-for-attribution basis in order to share their candid views, and to shed some light on what’s going on behind the scenes. “It makes no sense whatsoever why Scarborough has to have two ministers is truly unreal, why Newfoundland has to have two ministers is truly unreal. … This is a prime minister who keeps doubling down, this tokenism is ridiculous. It’s ridiculous, and I’m sick and tired of everything being about their friends, and their insiders. Screw them. I am so pissed off.”

WNU Editor: I live in a Liberal stronghold on the island of Montreal, and I know a lot of loyal Liberal supporters. None of them are voicing negative opinions/feelings on Justin Trudeau, and they all feel confident that the Liberals are poised to win a majority government in the next election.
I do not know if this confidence is warranted. The polls are saying the Liberals are in trouble .... Trudeau Liberals in trouble across much of the country, poll suggests (Montreal Gazette). It also looks like the Trudeau government is (maybe) positioning itself to call a snap election in the coming months .... Trudeau government spending on polling rises to $20.3M, nearly double amount from three years ago (National Post).

If Canadians vote for that dictator, they deserve ever bad thing that wimp will do to them. Canadians used to have a reputation for courage and toughness. What happened?

the great American patriot! NOT
It is patriotic. It is very patriotic to diss someone, who goes out of their way to diss America and to proudly proclaim their anti-Americanism.
7:13 posts like Frederick Lapides in content, but in writing style is better than what former, retired Leftist college prof was posting 10 years ago. People generally do not markedly improve their writing skill from their 70s going into their 80s. Something is rotten in the nutmeg state or St Petersburg.
Montreal needs to burn. Didn’t this loser say something like we live in the first post nation society? Can a wokie on here explain to the rest of us just what exactly that means?
yea, it means you are screwed,
if you do not get rid of these freaks.
