If what he reports is true that the Russians lost 20 MBTs and 30 IFVs in the area south of Bakhmut in one day, the Russians are in serious trouble. I expect more nuclear saber rattling by Medvedev and Putin.

I am wondering if the attacks are a sacrifice fly. they are sacrificing these troop's live to run down ammo stocks and recent the Ukrainians from advancing in that area for a period of time. If stocks of ammo get low and the Ukrainians are not making headway then the European leaders with cold feet with withdraw support. That seems to be the thinking by the Russians anyway.

The strong attacks prevent an immediate push to the river. Any advance to the river would cut one of the 2 or 3 supply lines for Bakhmut. The remaining line(s) of supply would be an artillery and drone magnet.

One thing we see is repaired Leopard MBT. Have not really seen repaired T-72s. Those tend to cook off.

If the Russians did not have the glide bombs and the helicopters, they'd already be overrun. I do not know how much longer the Russian superiority in the air will last, if it is true that the Russians shot down a second SU-35. I can think of a few reason for it happening. None of them bode well for Russia.

I am shocked that Russians are blocked on the Kremnina Front. That is closest active front to Mommy Russia and should have good MSRs.

In Joe's defense I think the kick was out of frustration (not planned) and fear. The fear was that he was going to fall because the dog bodily or because of the leash trip him up. If he falls especially off the stairs he could break a hip. that is the fear part. The frustration part is the dog is weaving back and forth and it is hard for Joe to take a step. the dog is not heeling. I have never gone down steps with a dog and having them heel. That could be tricky. The film frames go by fast. is Joe kicking the dog or using his lower leg to nudge the dog. You would have to calculate how fast his leg was traveling. Calculate the force.
