USA Today: Poll: Americans overwhelmingly back aid to Israel and Ukraine but split on US role in the world
The debate over military aid and global leadership has opened a generation gap and a partisan divide, a new USA TODAY/Suffolk poll finds.
Most Americans support sending additional military aid to Israel and Ukraine, a new USA TODAY/Suffolk University Poll finds, but a divide is deepening between those who see U.S. global leadership as crucial and those who want to pull back from the world to focus on problems at home instead.
The survey found double-digit support for aid to Israel in its battle against the terrorist group Hamas, 58%-35%, and majority support for sending more aid to Ukraine in its war with Russia, 51%-43%.
Additional military aid to Taiwan, which faces a continuing threat from China, was backed by a smaller margin, 43%-39%.
The poll of 1,000 registered voters, taken Oct. 17-20 by landline and cell phone, has a margin of error of plus or minus 3.1 percentage points.

WNU Editor: This explains why politically the White House sees their policy towards Ukraine and Israel as a winning one in the 2024 election cycle.
What the fuck? Who supports this? We're so screwed
ReplyDeleteCol Douglas MacGregor Alleges US Special Forces Went into Gaza and “Were Shot to Pieces, Took Heavy Losses, I Understand”
ReplyDeleteMacGregor is a general.so there is that. There have been plenty of bad or political generals. So is his word good?
I assume if this true the team went into rescue hostages. I have no problem with such an action conceptually.
I have a problem with not calling a spade a spade.
Politicians, Polifuckticians, do that often. Some of them ad nauseum.
* Why trade the x number of lives for x number of spec ops?
* Why stop Israel form going into Gaza only to go in yourself?
* If this is true, we have a 3 star advising Israel on urban warfare and US Central Command just had a unit get pwned! WTF. Hubris.
The Cabal or Junta that is Biden, Obama, Kamala, Rice, Jarret, Sullivan, Blinken et al are beyond incompetent and evil.
The US's experience with Urban fighting is what 14 years old. It is not much more recent than Israel's So how is it better? There is Mosul from 2014 but that is still different than Gaza.
Is the 3 star giving his best effort (I assume so), but also taking orders from Nervous Nellies at the Whitehouse quarterbacking from an armchair? the general was compromised before he showed up.
Do you
I own the Media therefore i've got em their hearts and minds are mine
ReplyDeletelisten to tucker you get bullshit
ReplyDelete“Clearly, Brigadier General Bolduc is not a student of history – he’s a politician, he ran for Senate in New Hampshire and failed. He’s not a military strategist, and to suggest that the US would put indirect fire or special operations or CIA on the ground to give Putin any sort of excuse to broaden this conflict is extremely dangerous talk at a time like this.”
What you see and read, there’s no Truth in the News and no News in the Truth.”
ReplyDeleteIf you don’t pay additional taxes for this, who cares…
ReplyDeleteBrigadier General Bolduc is not a student of history – he’s a politician, he ran for Senate in New Hampshire and failed. He’s not a military strategist (Blah) (blah) (blah)
ReplyDeleteThe guy went to War College and other schools. Unless he gun decked it he has some sort of decent training in strategy. There are some who go to War College who plagiarize and are carried. For example Pigee.
Provide evidence that the guy is not a military strategist. Your wild hair in your ass is not proof.
Failing to win election is not proof of lack of intelligence.
I'm not happy about this necessity, and I'm even more unhappy about the moron in command of our military. He is the reason we are here. Fact.
ReplyDeleteNah, that distinction rests woth poo tin
DeleteHow do you give a Democrat a nice small country? Give them a big one.
ReplyDelete"WNU Editor: This explains why politically the White House sees their policy towards Ukraine and Israel as a winning one in the 2024 election cycle."
ReplyDeletePublic support for a war always starts out high, then trends lower over time. Not much time when lots of bodybags start coming home.
The election is more than an ywar away, by then so many things can and will go wrong with this plan, that I am sure it will ensure Biden's defeat, not his victory. But he has to run in the election, or go to jail with his son. A similar dynamic in Israel, where Bibi has to "win a war" now or both go to jail and be writen up as the worst leader in Israel's history.
So the war circus rolls on. The only thing that will stop the neo-cons is a major defeat for USA/NATO, one so bad they are totally discredited. Which both Ukraine and Israel are likely to achieve in the near future, well before the election.
