Washington Post: China and Russia cast U.S. as agent of global instability at military forum

Chinese and Russian military officials on Monday criticized the United States as an agent of global instability at a Beijing military forum, where Russia’s defense minister, Sergei Shoigu, also threatened grave consequences over Western involvement in the war in Ukraine.

“The Western policy of steady escalation of the conflict with Russia carries the threat of a direct military clash between nuclear powers, which is fraught with catastrophic consequences,” he said, according to Russia’s state-run Tass news agency.

WNU Editor: For the past 50 years (after Nixon went to China in 1973) one of the corner stones of US foreign policy was to make sure that Russia and China do not form a strategic political and military alliance. To see this all now crumbling as quickly as it has is a surprise to me.

  1. That is what happens when you have incompetent leaders in the west. Especially Dementia Joe, more worried about Trans rights, soccer mom extremists terrorists at school board meetings, Catholics denounced as extremists, MAGA extremists, an entire administration with Trump Derangement Syndrome, Jake the Snake Sullivan running the NSC and announcing to the world the Middle East has never been so quiet days before one of the largest terror attacks in history, Blinken's failure as Secretary of State to accomplish anything, Kissing Iran's ass to where they are now a prosperous terror state, purging warrior military officers and on and on.

And how are those Russian sanctions working out, they Hurt the west more than Russia. Incompetent fools.

    1. Uh, it goes way deeper than the Joe-Bro. Hillary gave the game away when she compared Putin to Hitler.

  3. The question is only this:

When will one betray the other?

Over time, if Russia does not betray China, Russia will seize to exist in a meaningful manner, just by numbers.

Russia cannot keep up with China over time. So at latest in 100 years, Russia must act against China.

    China knows this.
    It will remain spicy.

Do you really think that a ultra-ethno-nationalist state, led by a Han group, that opposes anything but the CCP, will ever accept a state like Russia, with its churches and religion? HAHA

The Russians are cattle in the eyes of the Chinese and are too dumb to see this yet.

Go to China and pretend you are not Russian - let your European friends speak for you, to not give away your accent and listen. Listen to what they say about the long term plans and who will lead and who will follow.

If Russians want to be the tiny brother of China and follow its footsteps, so be it.

Or be partners with Europe and US, after we get rid of our corrupt who only wish war on you so they can rob both of us blind. We, the actual people, do not wish war on Russia. We have many Russians among us over here, because we - Europe and US - are actually multi-cultural -- GO TO CHINA. Check it out if you don't believe me.

You think Russians will play a role there ,in their future? :)
    Wake up

    1. Russia would have to learn to trust the west again = at least one generation. And that's IF the west can produce and install good leaders again.

  4. It's not hard to do when you have two powerful states each gunning for new territory through any means necessary.

  5. I have it one good authority from my White House contacts that there are special White House workers whose only job is to scour Lafayette Park across the street from the White House in Washington DC. When they find a "girls bicycle" unattended, they remove the seat and substitute another bicycle seat from their backpack. They then take the stolen bicycle seat back to the white House, where it is delivered to the Oval Office, where President Biden thoroughly sniffs the bicycle seat for any aromas clinging to it. This weird behavior is also known to the White House staff and press corp, who are sitting on the story.
