WNU Editor: I hope he recovers quickly. They say he was playing with his dog when he slipped and fell. I do not understand why his hairline fractures are on his foot. Usually when you fall the injury is on the upper body. 

Falling is something that all seniors have to be careful with. I have more than my share on taking care of seniors like my mom who has cognitive problems and difficulty walking .... and falling because of it. She suffered a hairline fracture on her hand when she first fell. It was after that fall that I learned she was starting to have memory/cognitive problems, and took measures to make minimize any chance of that happening again in the future.

Did Joe Biden fall because he has cognitive problems .... I do not know. But how he walks reminds me of people who have these type of health issues, and why they and the people around him need to be careful.

Progressive groups want to restrict the hiring of defense industry executives for top DoD posts and reduce the number of support contractors in the Pentagon. 

WASHINGTON — A group of progressive and anti-war organizations in a memo to President-elect Joe Biden’s transition team ask the incoming administration to make deep cuts to military budgets, and specifically target the U.S. Space Force, the next-generation ICBM and missile defense programs. 

The contents of the memo were first reported on Monday by Politico. A copy of the memo was obtained by SpaceNews. 

Among the key demands in the memo are to restrict the hiring of defense industry executives for top DoD posts, reduce the number of support contractors in the Pentagon, and eliminate the so-called “overseas contingency operations” account used to fund expenses outside the normal budget process.

(CNN) President-elect Joe Biden said Thursday that President Donald Trump "will go down in history as being one of the most irresponsible presidents," as Trump takes extraordinary action to try to subvert the 2020 election's outcome. 

In a news conference after meeting with Republican and Democratic governors -- part of Biden's effort to work around the Trump administration's refusal to allow his transition team access to federal agencies, including those coordinating the coronavirus response -- Biden lambasted Trump's actions, saying that Americans are "witnessing incredible irresponsibility." 

The result, he said, is an "incredibly damaging message is being sent to the rest of the world about how democracy functions." "It's hard to fathom how this man thinks. It's hard to fathom," Biden said. "It's just outrageous, what he's doing."

WNU Editor: What caught my eye in today's media exchange with Joe Biden were his facial expressions. Frowning, looking frightened, grimacing, eyes rapidly blinking or tightly closed. And while I do understand that he may be tired, his condition has gotten worse since election day. Tucker Carlson has claimed that a dossier of documents allegedly implicating Joe Biden in his son Hunter's shady business deals went missing in the post, somewhere between Manhattan and Los Angeles. 

Carlson detailed the mystery of the vanishing documents during his Wednesday evening show on Fox News, where he also aired new audio of Hunter Biden's business partners sharing concerns that their secrets would 'blow up big time'. 

The host said his team had sent documents, via an established courier, from his main studio in Manhattan on Monday to Los Angeles.

Tony Bobulinski, listed as one of the recipients of an email detailing an apparent business deal between a Chinese company and Hunter Biden, said that the message is "genuine" and that “the big guy” mentioned is a reference to Hunter’s father, former Vice President and 2020 Democratic presidential nominee Joe Biden, whom he claims Hunter Biden asked for business advice. 

His statement, obtained by the Washington Examiner, came hours ahead of the final debate between the elder Biden and President Trump, and less than two weeks before Election Day. "The facts set forth below are true and accurate," Bobulinski said. 

"They are not any form of domestic or foreign disinformation. Any suggestion to the contrary is false and offensive. I am the recipient of the email published seven days ago by the New York Post which showed a copy to Hunter Biden and Rob Walker. That email is genuine."

Emails from a former business associate of Hunter Biden's inner-circle who's serving time in prison for a 2016 investment scheme reveal that Hunter and his colleagues used their access to the Obama administration to peddle influence to potential Chinese clients and investors - including securing a private, off-the-books meeting with the former Vice President. 

The emails, given to investigative journalist Peter Schweizer by former Biden associate Bevan Cooney and published by Breitbart also reveal that in 2011, the younger Biden and his business associates discussed strengthening relations with "China Inc." as part of a "new push on soft diplomacy for the Chinese." 

As Breitbart notes, these emails are completely unconnected to the Hunter Biden emails released by the New York Post.

WNU Editor: We know that President Trump has a lot of enemies. But it looks like the Bidens have many also. The details that are now being posted are separate from the New York Post and their cache of Hunter Biden emails. 

Every election cycle brings about an October surprised. This is definitely an October surprise. Will it impact the election? Will it damage Presidential candidate Biden? I do not think so. Hunter Biden is clearly a damaged human being, who took advantage of his father's position to profit from it. Did Joe Biden know what his son was doing? I think he knew partially what he was doing. But he did not know the details. And because of that I think the American public will give him the benefit of the doubt. But  if evidence is revealed that shows Joe Biden knowingly using his son to enrich himself, and some of the New York Post emails give a hint that there is that type of relationship, all bets are off. But until those emails can be more thoroughly verified, it is all idle speculation with the main witness being Joe Biden's son and his personal emails and text messages .... a son who is also is suffering from seriously addiction and psychological problems.  

 Update #3: Just an observation. The last time that I saw Democrats this scared over a breaking news story and on how it may impact their Presidential candidate was the revelation of Bill Clinton's extramarital affairs before the 1992 election.

Facebook And Twitter Censor New York Post Story On Hunter Biden

Twitter has now also stopped users from sharing the story about Biden in a move that conservatives and the media are calling censorship and election interference 

Daily Mail: Outrage as Facebook AND Twitter throttle story about Joe Biden meeting son's Ukraine partners until it's been vetted by its third party so-called 'fact-checkers' 

 * Facebook said on Wednesday it is 'reducing circulation' of the NY Post story which claims Joe Biden met with Ukrainian businessman Vadym Pozharskyi 

 * Months after the alleged meeting, Biden - who was Vice President at the time- pressured Ukrainian officials to fire a prosecutor who was investigating Pozharskyi 

 * If true, it represents a huge conflict of interest and possible law break, given Biden's son Hunter was being paid $50,000-a-month by Pozharskyi's firm 

 * The Post published its story on Wednesday with screenshots of the emails 

 * Biden's campaign afterwards said the meeting never took place and that he has never been 

 * Facebook, on Wednesday, said it would stop the story from being shared until it had been vetted 

 * It has partnerships with dozens of third-party fact checkers, the identities of which are largely unknown 

 * Many asked why Facebook was entitled to call into question the Post's reporting 

 * Critics accused the company of election interference and of protecting Biden 

Facebook and Twitter have been accused of 'election interference' for throttling the news story about Joe Biden meeting his son Hunter's Ukrainian partners when he was Vice President, claiming it needs to be independently verified by fact-checkers. 

The story was published by The New York Post on Wednesday.

It suggests that Biden met with Ukrainian businessman Vadym Pozharskyi in 2015, when Hunter was working for Pozharskyi's gas firm. Months later, Biden pressured Ukrainian officials into firing a prosecutor who was looking in to the firm. 

If true, it raises serious questions of whether or not Biden abused his power as Vice President.

Facebook, however, has decided to 'reduce distribution' of the article until it has been verified by its own, third-party 'fact checkers'. It didn't say why it was taking the unusual step. Later, Twitter users reported being unable to share links to the story online.

Joe Biden's presidential campaign on Wednesday dismissed an explosive story about Hunter Biden after emails purported to come from Hunter's laptop appeared to show Hunter making an introduction between his powerful father and a Ukrainian energy firm. 

A trove of emails obtained from Hunter's laptop and revealed by Donald Trump's attorney Rudy Giuliani showed Hunter making an effort to introduce his father to an adviser at his Ukrainian gas firm before the then-vice president lobbied for the firing of a prosecutor who had investigated the company.

NYPost: Smoking-gun email reveals how Hunter Biden introduced Ukrainian businessman to VP dad

Hunter Biden introduced his father, then-Vice President Joe Biden, to a top executive at a Ukrainian energy firm less than a year before the elder Biden pressured government officials in Ukraine into firing a prosecutor who was investigating the company, according to emails obtained by The Post.  

The never-before-revealed meeting is mentioned in a message of appreciation that Vadym Pozharskyi, an adviser to the board of Burisma, allegedly sent Hunter Biden on April 17, 2015, about a year after Hunter joined the Burisma board at a reported salary of up to $50,000 a month.

* Says Hunter Biden received $3.5 million from Russian national Elena Baturina
* The funds were moved in a 2014 wire transfer citing a 'consultancy agreement'
* Baturina is the widow of former Moscow mayor Yuri Luzhkov, who died in 2019
* She is also the richest woman in Russia thanks to lucrative state contracts
* Luzhkov was removed from office in 2010 over corruption allegations

Hunter Biden had a 'financial relationship' with the widow of a Moscow mayor who was ousted over corruption allegations, according to a report from Republican senators.

The 87-page report was released on Wednesday by the Republican-led Senate Homeland Security and Governmental Affairs Committee and the Finance Committee, and focuses on Hunter Biden's business dealings in Ukraine.

The report did not implicate Joe Biden in wrongdoing, focusing instead on his son Hunter, who it said 'cashed in' on his father's position by joining the board of a Ukrainian gas company.

It also states that on Valentine's Day in 2014, Hunter Biden's company Rosemont Seneca Thornton received a $3.5 million wire from Elena Baturina, a Russian billionaire and the widow of former Moscow Mayor Yuri Luzhkov.

WNU Editor: When I first read the GOP report outlining Russian billionaire Elena Baturina's $3.5 million wired transfer to Hunter Biden's company Rosemont Seneca Thornton, the first thing that I said to myself was .... that's all?!?!?!? She bought him cheap. Her husband bribed and gave away tens of millions to get municipal construction projects in Moscow. This $3,5 million is peanuts. But the big question is .... what was she exactly buying? No one has given an answer to that question.
