In the wake of the woefully insufficient Pentagon report from June in which the U.S. government admitted it could not explain the vast majority of unidentified aerial phenomena, the Department of Defense is increasing its effort, creating an official group to study these events. 

The announcement, made late Tuesday, will see the establishment of the Airborne Object Identification and Management Synchronization Group (AOIMSG), succeeding the U.S. Navy's Unidentified Aerial Phenomena Task Force; it will be part of the office of Under Secretary of Defense for Intelligence & Security.

The SUN: Secret US nuclear missile bases ‘targeted by UFOs’ revealed in new map as Pentagon told to ‘come clean’ 

UFOs have reportedly tampered with nuclear bases and missile test facilities across the United States - and this is where the mysterious craft targeted, according to whistleblower military veterans. 

The Sun Online has mapped the alleged extraterrestrial meddling with Earth's doomsday weapons that apparently occurred during the height of the Cold War in the 1960s and 1970s. 

Former US Air Force chiefs went on the record yesterday, claiming aliens have tampered with US weapons systems undergoing tests and disabled secret ballistic missile silos. 

The veterans are calling on the US Congress to investigate and hold public hearings into reports UFOs meddled with, or knocked out, nuclear weapons at their hidden underground launch sites.

* As part of House's National Defense Authorization Act, the office would be under the Secretary of Defense

* It also proposes the office deliver a report to Congress annually for the next five years and give an update on how to capture or exploit UAP 

* The Senate's version of the bill does not include a permanent office

Three months after the Pentagon released its highly-anticipated, albeit sparse report on the subject of 'unidentified aerial phenomenon' (UAPs), the U.S. government is looking into creating a permanent office to study the subject. 

As part of the 2022 National Defense Authorization Act from the House of Representatives, there is a provision to create a permanent office under the Secretary of Defense to investigate reports of unidentified aerial phenomena, according to NextGov, which first reported the news.

U.S. Space Force Wary Of Taking Over UFO Mission

Politico: 'They want people to take them seriously': Space Force wary of taking over UFO mission  

The newest branch is among a number of military and intelligence organizations in the running to take over the investigation of unexplained aircraft. 

The Pentagon is considering giving the Space Force a greater role in a stepped-up effort to track and investigate reports of UFOs. But the newest military branch isn't over the moon about the idea. 

Space Force leaders are still struggling to rebrand an organization that has been lampooned since before its birth. Now, they are conflicted about becoming the military's go-to on what the Pentagon now calls "unidentified aerial phenomena," according to five current and former officials taking part in the discussions. 

Advocates for the Space Force taking over for the Navy, which is currently leading the Pentagon's task force responsible for studying them, believe the new service is better suited to oversee a more robust effort aimed at collecting information on UFOs, and that its association with a topic of such public fascination, particularly among young people, could even boost recruiting.

U.S. Senate Intel Committee Passes Bill Unanimously That Strengthens UAP/UFO Task Force

If passed in its current form, the bill would expand the UAPTF's access to sensitive data and require recurring reports on UAP every 90 days. 

The Senate Select Committee on Intelligence, or SSCI, recently passed the Intelligence Authorization Act for Fiscal Year 2022 (IAA) on a unanimous vote. Among a range of priorities, the bill included provisions to significantly bolster the Unidentified Aerial Phenomena Task Force (UAPTF). 

Specifically, the bill mandates that the Director of National Intelligence and Secretary of Defense require their constituent elements to provide “data relating to unidentified aerial phenomena” to both the UAPTF and the Air Force’s National Air and Space Intelligence Center. The bill also requires that congressional defense and intelligence committees receive a classified quarterly briefing on UAP events from either the UAPTF or an entity such as the Deputy Secretary of Defense. Each briefing is to report any new incidents, as well as any incidents that have not been covered by previous briefings. The inclusion of past events that have not otherwise been reported to the UAPTF appears to create a potential historical mandate to review UAP incidents from sources that the UAPTF has not had access to or that have not been cooperative in furnishing info to the task force.

Luis Elizondo, the former director of the Pentagon's Advanced Aerospace Threat Identification Program (AATIP) program to study UFOs, said the report was only the tip of the iceberg, but nevertheless called it 'historic'.

WASHINGTON (Reuters) - The U.S. government, once openly dismissive of UFO sightings that for decades sparked the popular imagination, is poised to issue an expansive account of what it calls "unidentified aerial phenomena," based heavily on observations by American military pilots. 

The U.S. intelligence community, in conjunction with the Pentagon, is due in the coming days to submit a report to Congress on the subject. The Pentagon in recent years has released or confirmed the authenticity of video from naval aviators showing enigmatic aircraft exhibiting speed and maneuverability exceeding known aviation technologies. 

In the lead-up to its forthcoming report, Defense Department officials have made clear they take the issue seriously while sidestepping questions about any potential extraterrestrial origins. The report marks a turning point for the U.S. military after decades of deflecting, debunking and discrediting observations of unidentified flying objects and "flying saucers."

Leaked U.S. Intelligence Report Says There Is No Evidence Of Alien Technology In UFOs, But Can't Rule It Out Either

 

New York Times: U.S. Finds No Evidence of Alien Technology in Flying Objects, but Can’t Rule It Out, Either 

A new report concedes that much about the observed phenomena remains difficult to explain, including their acceleration, as well as ability to change direction and submerge. 

WASHINGTON — American intelligence officials have found no evidence that aerial phenomena witnessed by Navy pilots in recent years are alien spacecraft, but they still cannot explain the unusual movements that have mystified scientists and the military, according to senior administration officials briefed on the findings of a highly anticipated government report. 

The report determines that a vast majority of more than 120 incidents over the past two decades did not originate from any American military or other advanced U.S. government technology, the officials said. That determination would appear to eliminate the possibility that Navy pilots who reported seeing unexplained aircraft might have encountered programs the government meant to keep secret. 

But that is about the only conclusive finding in the classified intelligence report, the officials said. And while a forthcoming unclassified version, expected to be released to Congress by June 25, will present few other firm conclusions, senior officials briefed on the intelligence conceded that the very ambiguity of the findings meant the government could not definitively rule out theories that the phenomena observed by military pilots might be alien spacecraft.

On May 9, 2001, Steven M. Greer took the lectern at the National Press Club, in Washington, D.C., in pursuit of the truth about unidentified flying objects. Greer, an emergency-room physician in Virginia and an outspoken ufologist, believed that the government had long withheld from the American people its familiarity with alien visitations. He had founded the Disclosure Project in 1993 in an attempt to penetrate the sanctums of conspiracy. Greer’s reckoning that day featured some twenty speakers. TMZ: Marco Rubio Talks to TMZ About UFOs and the Possibility of Alien Life: ‘There’s Stuff Flying Over Military Installations’ We Can’t Identify 

Sen. Marco Rubio (R-FL) shared his thoughts on aliens with TMZ — revealing he is worried about UFOs flying near United States military bases. 

TMZ stopped the senator, a member of the Senate Committee on Intelligence, at Reagan National Airport on Monday, noting that the government is now required to release a report detailing everything officials know about UFOs. 

“There’s stuff flying over military installations, and nobody knows what it is and it isn’t ours,” he said, adding that it’s logical to want to identify these unidentified flying objects. 

“It’s common sense, right?”

Daily Mail: US has secret evidence of UFOs breaking sound barrier without a sonic boom and performing moves humans don't have the technology for, Former Director of National Intelligence John Ratcliffe reveals ahead of bombshell real X Files report 

 * In December a 180-day deadline was announced for a report into UFO sightings 

 * The Pentagon and intelligence agencies must release their report by June 1 

 * John Ratcliffe, former DNI, said there were more sightings than publicly known 

 * Ratcliffe said the observations were made by Navy and Air Force pilots

 * They were recorded by 'multiple sensors' and had no obvious explanation

 * The incidents included supersonic travel without a sonic boom 

 * Ratcliffe said it was in the public interest that the information be released 

The U.S. has evidence of UFOs breaking the sound barrier without a sonic boom and making maneuvers impossible with known technology, the former Director of National Intelligence has revealed. 

The revelations increased excitement about a forthcoming report detailing what the U.S. government has observed. John Ratcliffe, who served as Donald Trump's Director of National Intelligence, said that many of the incidents still have no easy explanation.
