Daily Mail: Russian air force puts on show of strength with amazing aerial stunts including helicopters, jets and parachutists at airshow

Russia wasted no time flexing its military might this week during an international event showcasing planes, boats and weapons.

The country's aerobatics teams were seen performing dizzying aerial manoeuvres at the International Maritime Defense Show in St. Petersburg.

The event, lasting from Wednesday until today, also offered hundreds of the world's leading companies the chance to showcase state-of-the-art equipment.

Among the major attractions were multi-purpose high-speed boats and high-tech 'Krypton' mortar air-to-surface missiles.
