I have no problem with protests. I just get queasy when they show-up with AR-15s.
The MI governor has been far more brutal and oppressive to the residents of MI than the former Ukrainian government ever was towards Ukrainians yet the United States supported a coup against that government. By this logic the US government should be supporting the protesters and should be pushing for the removal of the MI governor by all means necessary.
After all the US government risked a great deal to support Ukraine's fight for "freedom" and exacerbated a conflict with a major world power all for a people far, far away and for no discernable US interests. At worst Ukrainians dealt with an oppression level on the scale of Lake Conroe near where I live (dimensions 32.81mi squared.) While not insignificant this pales in comparison to the oppression residents of MI are suffering under. The oppression and abuse MI residents are suffering under is analogous to the Pacific Ocean.
Furthermore this requires us to assume the reports on oppression by the Ukrainian that we received are accurate. Given the propensity of the US government to lie and obfuscate, I'd consider this to be a dubious assumption at best. Fir now we will assume the reports were accurate. Ukrainians suffered oppression on the scale of the lake I mention above at the hands of their government.
The American government went to war against the Ukrainian oppressor risking war with a major world power and that risk is still there today all for no discernable US interests and all for a people who aren't their kin either by blood or values and don't care about them!! Now Americans in MI are suffering under far greater abuse under the MI governor than Ukrainians ever did under their government. The US government should REALLY be worked and doing anything and everything it can to remove the oppressive MI government!!

Where I live in TX the oppression hasn't been quite as bad as what I am seeing in MI furthermore I'm cautiously optimistic that TX along with other states is getting ready ti extend the proverbial middle finger to the feds and reopen our economies.
Unfortunately the MI governor appears to be doubling down on this. I think it a safe conclusion that those AR-15s kept the protesters alive. Based upon the governor's current actions it would only be an extrenely small baby step for her to order law enforcement to open fire on those opposing her. Furthermore I do not believe she would be doing what she is doing if she thought she didn't have the full backing of law enforcement. Essentially if one is going to show up to question her doing so unarmed has a real risk of being a death sentence. We've seen enough to know it often ends badly for people who show up to question the actions of those leaders who are behaving like tyrants without adequate weaponry.
She is serving the people. Just because a few say different doesn’t make it so. And your rights end when they trample on the rights of others.

The deaths are generally people with other underlying health conditions that had they not died of COVID-19 this year many of them would have died of something else within a year. Thus has the effect of making this appear to be more deadly than it actually is and as pointed out by multiple sources including my contacts in the healthcare field there has been and continues to be extreme pressure to classify deaths as COVID-19. So whether deliberate or not it does have many of the hallmarks of a hoax. I think it is a very reasonable conclusion.

Who is dying. Elderly in nursing homes and hospice care. When you are in hospice care, you are expected to die, because you have an progressive and terminal disease. so look anonymous.I am in Kali. When Gov. Newsome and our public health officer's began this lock down, I instinctively knew they did not have the authority to do this but i did not have the facts. I did not want to get caught enforcing laws that were not constitutional. So i began doing research. I looked at every law, in the health and safety codes and government codes as it relates to state of emergency declarations and public health quarantine laws. What I learned is that the declaration of a state of emergency allows the governor to relax laws to allow for the greasing of the skids so resources can flow to damage areas, think fires, floods earthquakes. No where in the verbiage does it say he can suspend constitutional rights. He also cannot call for a quarantine. That power is given to the county public health officer. No Kali law allows for quarantines except for infected persons, property or animals. The key word is infected.
I found a 2013 document online from the state of California. it was a state sanctioned work called the "health officers practice guide for communicable disease control in California". go look it up. You will see that it was a Kali sanctioned examination of the laws. EVERY PARAGRAPH IN THIS TEXT IS FOOTNOTED TO CASE LAW. When you read this document and see what Newsome is doing, you will get why this is so out of line. I built a document with what I learned and shared it with the DA, Sheriff and my chief. What i figured out by their varied but similar responses is they are only bluffing. they know the law is going to follow this. The most they do is right summons and hope that intimidates. Privately the DA said she will end up tearing the summons up.

The court adjudicating this was a state court. It is my understanding that all laws, all branches of government regardless of level, all edicts, decrees, etc are subservient to the constitution, no exceptions.
The second question was actually directed to how you presented the branches of government and could have been simply an inconsistency of typing rooted in emotion of the moment.
