Biden the fool taps the SPR, which mat sorely be needed by the military soon solely to remain in office a few days more. Biden is a lot like Hitler. Stalingrad and the Sicily Landings debacles (for the Germans) happened in a short span of time. The German high command was overwhelmed. By the summer 1943 most German officers knew the war was lost. So way fight? In hopes of a negotiated peace. Other in the German hierarchy fought to stave off the inevitable. They did not want to face the courts and the hangman.
So we have Joe Biden releasing oil from the SPR and it won't make much of a difference except a few cents for a few days. But it will adversely affect the military.
But Team D wants to spin the news cycle if it is only for the next one.
"OPEC and allied oil producers including Russia have decided to stick to a modest increase in oil. The move supports higher prices even as the Biden administration tries to lower them by releasing oil from strategic reserves."
