SEAL Team 6 Operator Rob O'Neill Explains The Full Mission That Led To Osama bin Laden's Death
To some extent Rob, and the SEAL culture are part of the problem that plagues the west. Or maybe my idealization of a truer American ethos is wrong. One of my favorite movies is Sgt. York played by Gary Cooper. York was a common man in fly over country scooped up into the insanity of his age. His valor left many a dead German and led to the Medal of honor. When the commercial enterprises of America offered him tons of money to sponsor their product or tell the story of his heroic deeds he refused. He was not proud that he had to kill other humans. I ask you this question, where are the Delta force heroes? What, they never do dangerous stuff? Of course they do, but their culture is one of quiet professionalism.
I do not want to take from Rob the special person it takes to become a SEAL or the bravery of his actions or the necessity of his actions. I am just uneasy with the bravado and commercialization of killing others.
I have been involved in numerous computer science projects since the 1980s, as well as developing numerous web projects since 1996.
These blogs are a summation of all the information that I read and catalog pertaining to the subjects that interest me.

However--it IS a RIPPING YARN
Man that dude was a foul mouthed, disgusting individual--I couldn't watch the whole thing because of his demeanor
