President Bill Clinton on Monica Lewinsky And The #MeToo Movement

Daily Mail: Sorry for what? Bill Clinton insists he doesn't owe Monica Lewinsky an apology for hijacking her life by seducing her while president – and says HE'S a victim because the legal fallout left him $16 million in debt

* Clinton rocked the political world during the 1990s when he was forced to admit an affair with young White House intern Monica Lewinsky
* Now he insists he doesn't owe her a face-to-face apology for turning her life upside down and subjecting her to international ridicule
* The former president says he's a victim of his own transgressions since he was $16 million in debt when he left the White House
* He and Hillary Clinton have amassed a fortune since then through six-figure speaking appearances
* James Patterson, who co-authored a political fiction book with Clinton, insisted he shouldn't have resigned because philandering JFK and LBJ set the standard

Former President Bill Clinton insisted in a weekend interview that he doesn't owe a personal apology to Monica Lewinsky, the former White House intern whose adult life has been defined by their inappropriate sexual affair and the global scrutiny that followed.

'No,' he told NBC in an interview airing Monday on the 'Today' show. 'I do not – I have never talked to her. But I did say publicly on more than one occasion that I was sorry.'

'I apologized to everybody in the world,' Clinton said, implying that was enough.

And the flustered former president, more famous for his Don Juan-like seductions than for his policy legacy, portrayed himself, not Lewinsky, as history's victim in the mass-media's retelling of the 1990s saga.

Former U.S. President Bill Clinton Suggests President Trump Is Part Of A ‘Dictator’s Club’

The Hill: Bill Clinton compares Trump's fake news rhetoric to ‘dictators club’ tactics

Former President Clinton on Wednesday expressed concern that President Trump's rhetoric reflects the same values as dictators around the world.

Clinton said on the late night show "Conan" that the world’s dictators all want to blur the line between fact and fiction.

"They figure if you don’t know what’s true and you don’t think you can ever know that, pretty soon everybody will accept the fact that democracy is no longer possible," Clinton told host Conan O'Brien.

“Are you talking about foreign countries now or here?” O’Brien asked. “That chilled me to the bone for a second.”

Clinton hesitated.

“You just said a lot by saying nothing,” O'Brien said.

President-Elect Trump Fires Back At Former President Clinton's Election Comments

FOX News: Trump fires back at Bill Clinton over election comments

Donald Trump fired back at Bill Clinton on Tuesday after the former president was quoted mocking the incoming president’s intelligence and blaming FBI Director James Comey and “angry, white men” for Hillary Clinton’s defeat.

The comments emerged after an editor at the Bedford-Pound Ridge Record Review caught an impromptu Q-and-A with Bill Clinton at a New York bookstore and published the details in the paper’s print edition. The editorial did not appear online but the contents were reported by Politico.

“He doesn’t know much,” Clinton said when asked if Trump was smart. “One thing he does know is how to get angry, white men to vote for him.”

He also said Trump called him the day after the election.

Trump, on Twitter, disputed that detail and tried to turn the tables on the former president – questioning the Clinton team’s grasp of what it took to motivate voters in key swing states.

Update: Trump goes after Bill Clinton over post-election comments (CBS).

WNU Editor: When I put up this post yesterday .... Bill Clinton Is Still Bitter .... I said to myself that President-Elect Trump would be responding within a day. And true to form he did .... thereby proving my point that if you push Trump .... he will push back. As to the bigger question .... will President-elect Trump behave the same way when he is in the Oval Office? My money is that he will continue to behave like this .... push him, and he will push back .... maybe doubly so .... and he will be like that on both domestic and international issues. Are U.S political leaders and international leaders ready for this .... people like Russian President Putin have probably sized up President-Elect Trump .... but as for everyone else .... my impression is that they still have trouble understanding him.

Donations To The Clinton Foundation Have Dropped Significantly

New York Post: Donations to Clinton Foundation fell by 37 percent

Donations to the Clinton Foundation nose-dived last year amid Hillary Clinton’s presidential run, pay-to-play allegations, internal strife and a black mark from a charity watchdog.

Contributions fell by 37 percent to $108 million, down from $172 million in 2014, according to the group’s latest tax filings.

The cash plummeted as Hillary Clinton left the nonprofit in April 2015 after announcing her ill-fated candidacy. The foundation became a major issue in the race, with Donald Trump vowing to appoint a special prosecutor to investigate it.

More Details On The Loretta Lynch - Bill Clinton Airport Meeting Leaked

Ken Kurson, Observer: EXCLUSIVE: Security Source Details Bill Clinton Maneuver to Meet Loretta Lynch

Former president delayed Phoenix takeoff to snare '20-25 minute encounter' with Attorney General.

An exclusive interview with a security source who was present at the unplanned meeting Monday night on a Phoenix tarmac between former President Bill Clinton and Attorney General Lorretta Lynch has shed additional light on an unusual summit that is embroiling the AG in charges of favoritism. As attorney general, Lynch heads the Department of Justice just as it is deciding whether to proceed with charges against Democratic presidential nominee Hillary Clinton over her use of a private email server during her tenure as President Obama’s secretary of state.

The source has decades of experience providing security to government officials. The source spoke to the Observer for 20 minutes and answered follow-up questions via text message on the condition that no further details be revealed, including even gender, given the possibility of losing his or her job as an active overseer of security arrangements. This person was on-hand for the entirety of the meeting and some of its aftermath.

The Reporter Who Broke The Clinton/ Lynch Private Meeting Says That The FBI Ordered ‘No Photos, No Pictures, No Cell Phones’

WNU Editor: The part of this story that caught my eye was the reporter's remark that the FBI ordered ‘no photos, no pictures, no cell phones’ during the Clinton/Lynch meeting (see above video). When is it the FBI's business to tell reporters on what to record and report. Bottom line .... the main stream media complied, but if it was not for this local reporter .... this story would never have made the news.

On a side note .... why was Bill Clinton in Phoenix? They say he was there to play golf, but the temperature that day was over 100 degrees Fahrenheit .... for a man who has health problems .... playing golf in +100F weather is a bit of stretch.

Update: This J. Christian Adams' analysis makes sense .... Bill Clinton Up to No Good Visiting Attorney General Loretta Lynch (PJ Media). The image of the head of the Justice Department meeting former President Bill Clinton sends a powerful image to every career bureaucrat/prosecutor who is investigating Hillary Clinton.

Update #2: We now know that someone called the local ABC News reporter that this meeting was taking place .... so someone had to leak this out. Who was that person(s)? And was this all done on purpose?

Update #3: Someone just asked me if I believe that Hillary Clinton will be indicted .... my answer .... NO! The idea that President Obama's DOJ is going to indict the Democrat's Presidential nominee is laughable .... especially in this politicised DoJ.

Update #4: Someone just emailed me that we are all being played by the Clintons. Hmmmm .... I give it a 50-50 chance.

Update #5: Where is Bill Clinton? Why are no reporters hassling him?

Former President Clinton: 'The Islamic State Is An Interesting NGO'

Washington Times: Bill Clinton: Islamic State ‘most interesting’ NGO today

Former President Bill Clinton said Tuesday that the Islamic State terror group is “arguably the most interesting” non-governmental organization today.

Mr. Clinton made the comments about the group, also known as ISIS or ISIL, during the third of a four-speech lecture series he is giving at Georgetown University.

“Arguably the most interesting non-governmental organization today, which proves the importance of inclusion by its shortcomings, but is formidable, is ISIS,” he said. “ISIS is a terrorist organization, an NGO, trying to become a state. That is, they don’t recognize any of the boundaries of the Middle Eastern countries as legitimate. They were all established, drawn largely by Westerners after the collapse of the Ottoman Empire in World War I.
