Will Hillary Clinton Run In The 2024 U.S. Presidential Election?

Daily Mail: Hillary v Trump - the REMATCH: Two Democrat operatives say Clinton is the 'best option' to win in 2024 with Biden and Kamala's dire polls - paving the way for another showdown after 2016

* Clinton sparked 2024 rumors with a slew of television interviews last month

* In them she indirectly swung at the Biden administration and urged Democrats to stop moving left or risk alienating voters ahead of the 2022 midterms

* The Dem op-ed writers predict Democrats' likely loss of Congress in 2022 will be the catalyst to a Hillary Clinton presidential comeback

* They say Biden's age and Kamala Harris' unpopularity create a 'power vacuum'

Hillary Clinton may be the 'best option' to lead Democrats -- and likely face down Donald Trump -- in 2024, two Democrat operatives said on Tuesday.

Just a year into Joe Biden's presidency, his and Kamala Harris' low popularity and back-to-back domestic and foreign crises has Democrats searching for a viable presidential candidate.

That could set the stage for the former Secretary of State's political comeback, Douglas E. Schoen and Andrew Stein predict in a piece for the Wall Street Journal.

* Hillary Clinton voiced her disapproval with the withdrawal publicly for the first time in an interview with CNN on Sunday

* Clinton said the US should be prepared for 'two huge consequences'

* The first, she said, is a collapse of the Afghan government and Taliban takeover

* The second would be an outpouring of refugees should civil war break out

 * Clinton's comments came a day after the US formally launched its withdrawal of 2,500 troops and began handing control back to the Afghan government

 * US soldiers on Saturday passed control of Camp Antonik to Afghan forces

 * Clinton and fellow former secretary of state Condoleezza Rice reportedly appeared before Congress on Friday to warn against the withdrawal

Hillary Clinton has warned the US will face 'huge consequences' from President Joe Biden's decision to withdraw troops from Afghanistan.

Hillary Clinton Says Biden 'Should Not Concede The Election Under Any Circumstances'

The Hill: Hillary Clinton: Biden 'should not concede under any circumstances'

Former Secretary of State Hillary Clinton said in a new interview that Democratic presidential nominee Joe Biden "should not concede under any circumstances" because she believes the final results in November's election are "going to drag out" due to mail-in voting.

"Joe Biden should not concede under any circumstances because I think this is going to drag out, and eventually, I do believe he will win if we don't give an inch and if we are as focused and relentless as the other side is," Clinton told former aide Jennifer Palmieri on Showtime's "The Circus."

"I think that [Republicans] have a couple of scenarios that they are looking toward. One is messing up absentee balloting. They believe that helps them so that they then get maybe a narrow advantage in the Electoral College on Election Day," Clinton, the 2016 Democratic nominee, alleged. "So we've got to have a massive legal operation, and I know the Biden campaign is working on that."

Former Secretary of State Hillary Clinton on Tuesday quashed rumors she would consider being former New York City Mayor Mike Bloomberg's vice presidential running mate.

"Oh no," Clinton said when asked the question during a Vocero interview while in Puerto Rico for a Clinton Global Initiative event. "I'm just waiting and watching as this plays out. I will support whoever the nominee is."

Matt Drudge first reported on Saturday that Bloomberg was considering Clinton as his running mate, but the story was not confirmed, according to Fox News. The Bloomberg campaign replied to these reports saying, "We are focused on the primary and the debate, not VP speculation."

Hillary Clinton Says She Can 'Beat' President Trump Again

Daily Mail: 'Crooked Hillary should try it!' Donald Trump dares Clinton to enter crowded Democratic presidential field a THIRD time after she claims she could beat him 'again'

* Trump dares 'Crooked Hillary' Clinton to enter the 2020 presidential race
* She had tweeted 'Dont tempt me,' after he jabbed that she should challenge Elizabeth Warren but only if she came clean about her email scandal
* Clinton has said she won't run for president a third time
* But she said Tuesday night on PBS that 'maybe there does need to be a rematch; I mean, obviously, I can beat him again'
* Clinton lost to Trump in the Electoral College that determines American presidents
* She collected more votes overall, by running up the score in liberal California and New York – winning bragging rights but constitutionally losing the election

Donald Trump on Wednesday dared his 2016 nemesis Hillary Clinton to run against him again, calling her 'Crooked Hillary' and goading her after she warned him in a tweet that he shouldn't 'tempt' her.

The president trolled her anyway, reposting a video clip from their debate three years ago – to the day – in which he quipped that if he were president she would be behind bars.

Clinton jabbed that night in St. Louis, Missouri it was 'awfully good that someone with the temperament of Donald Trump is not in charge of the law in our country.'

'Because you’d be in jail,' the future president replied.

Is Hillary Clinton About To Try Another Run For The U.S. Presidency?

Hillary Clinton, joined by her daughter Chelsea to promote their book 'The Book of Gutsy Women', railed against the president, claiming that she lost the 2016 election to a 'corrupt human tornado'

Daily Mail: Is Hillary about to try AGAIN? Clinton is joined by daughter Chelsea as she slams Trump as an 'illegitimate president' and a 'corrupt human tornado' ahead of a week packed with media appearances, sparking rumors she plans to enter the 2020 race

* Hillary Clinton bashed Donald Trump as an 'illegitimate president'
* She also lamented in an interview that she lost in 2016 to a 'corrupt human tornado'
* The new criticism comes as Trump is found at the center of a new scandal involving his conversation with the Ukrainian President this summer
* Clinton was joined by her daughter Chelsea Clinton to promote their book
* Her packed media week has rumors flying she is considering entering the 2020 presidential race

Hillary Clinton bashed Donald Trump Sunday, calling the president 'a corrupt human tornado' after a week of negative media attention surrounding revelations of a July phone call he had with the Ukrainian president.

While promoting 'The Book of Gutsy Women,' which she wrote with her daughter Chelsea, Clinton – who often laments that she won the popular vote in 2016 – called Trump an 'illegitimate president.'

'He knows that there were a bunch of different reasons why the election turned out how it did,' Clinton, 71, told CBS in a pre-recorded interview that aired Sunday morning.

Hillary Clinton Wants China To Back The Democrats By Helping Get President Trump's Tax Returns

Daily Mail: 'China, if you're listening, why don't you get Trump's tax returns?' Hillary Clinton trolls Trump with flashback of press conference where he dared Russia to find her missing emails

* Former secretary of state and presidential candidate Hillary Clinton trolled President Trump is hypothetical situation
* She suggested a Democratic candidate publicly call for China to obtain Trump's tax returns, which he refuses to release
* She was referencing Trump's July 2016 press conference where he appealed to Russia to find her 30,000 deleted emails
* The special counsel's report found Trump's comments were not collusion or obstruction, because those charges require some sort of secrecy

Hillary Clinton proposed a theoretical situation where a Democratic candidate call on China to obtain the president's tax returns in a hit at his behavior during the 2016 campaign.

'Imagine that you had one of the Democratic nominees for 2020 on your show, and that person said, 'You know, the only other adversary of ours who is anywhere near as good as the Russians, is China,'' Clinton said during an interview with MSNBC's Rachel Maddow Wednesday night.

''And since Russia is clearly backing Republicans, why don't we ask China to back us?'' Clinton continued in the hypothetical situation. ''China, if you're listening, why don't you get Trump's tax returns. I'm sure our media would richly reward you.''

Former Secretary of State Hillary Clinton Has Lost Her Security Clearance

CNN: Hillary Clinton's security clearance withdrawn at her request

Former Secretary of State Hillary Clinton's security clearance was withdrawn in August at her request, the State Department confirmed in a letter to Senate Judiciary Chairman Chuck Grassley, which his office released to the public Friday.

Clinton's request came after retired Navy Adm. William McRaven, the man who oversaw the 2011 Navy SEAL raid that killed Osama bin Laden, wrote an op-ed in The Washington Post issuing a stunning rebuke of President Donald Trump's decision to revoke the security clearance of former CIA Director John Brennan, Clinton's spokesperson tweeted Friday night.

In the op-ed, published in August, McRaven defended the former spy chief as "one of the finest public servants I have ever known," and volunteered to have his own security clearance revoked in an act of solidarity.

Did China Hacked Hillary Clinton’s Private Email Server?

Daily Caller: SOURCES: China Hacked Hillary Clinton’s Private Email Server

* A Chinese-owned company penetrated former Secretary of State Hillary Clinton’s private server, according to sources briefed on the matter.
* The company inserted code that forwarded copies of Clinton’s emails to the Chinese company in real time.
* The Intelligence Community Inspector General warned of the problem, but the FBI subsequently failed to act, Texas Republican Rep. Louie Gohmert said during a July hearing.

A Chinese-owned company operating in the Washington, D.C., area hacked Hillary Clinton’s private server throughout her term as secretary of state and obtained nearly all her emails, two sources briefed on the matter told The Daily Caller News Foundation.

The Chinese firm obtained Clinton’s emails in real time as she sent and received communications and documents through her personal server, according to the sources, who said the hacking was conducted as part of an intelligence operation.

The Hill: Congressional investigators find irregularities in FBI's handling of Clinton email case

Republicans on key congressional committees say they have uncovered new irregularities and contradictions inside the FBI’s probe of Hillary Clinton’s email server.

For the first time, investigators say they have secured written evidence that the FBI believed there was evidence that some laws were broken when the former secretary of State and her top aides transmitted classified information through her insecure private email server, lawmakers and investigators told The Hill.

That evidence includes passages in FBI documents stating the “sheer volume” of classified information that flowed through Clinton’s insecure emails was proof of criminality as well as an admission of false statements by one key witness in the case, the investigators said.

Hillary Clinton Blames Wikileaks And Russian President Putin For Her Election Defeat. Compares Russian Interference To 9/11

ABC News Online: Hillary Clinton says Julian Assange colluded with Russia to help Donald Trump win US election

Hillary Clinton has attacked WikiLeaks founder Julian Assange, labelling him "a tool of Russian intelligence" who is doing the bidding of "dictator" Vladimir Putin.

In an exclusive interview with Four Corners, Mrs Clinton alleges Mr Assange colluded with a Russian intelligence operation to disrupt the 2016 US election and damage her candidacy for president.

"Assange has become a kind of nihilistic opportunist who does the bidding of a dictator," she said.

"WikiLeaks is unfortunately now practically a fully owned subsidiary of Russian intelligence."

Mrs Clinton said the operation against her was directed by Russian President Vladimir Putin.
