Sarah Palin Causes Stir At Rolling Thunder -- CBS News
Riding onto the scene on the back of a Harley-Davidson, Sarah Palin made a dramatic entrance Sunday at a much-anticipated appearance with the Rolling Thunder bike rally in Arlington, Virginia, an early stop on her recently-launched national bus tour.
The annual motorcycle ride, part of a two-day effort by the Rolling Thunder nonprofit organization, means to draw attention to American troops who have gone missing in combat and remain unaccounted for. Hundreds of participants ride in support of the cause yearly.

My Comment: A very liberal Democrat friend of mine (yes, I know some of those) who always participates in the Rolling Thunder bike rally text me the following message on Sunday .....
.... saw Sarah Palin today. Crowd went wild when she past by. I was even clapping.
And Chris Matthews thinks she is stupid?
On a personal note ..... what I will always remember about Rolling Thunder (and is etched in my brain .... probably forever) happened last year when a lone marine stood at attention (for God knows how long) saluting each and every passing bike. See video below.

The "lone Marine" is Ssgt Tim Chambers and he has stood at attention and saluting the riders for the past 8 years. He stands there for about 7 hours, in pain eventually, but never waivers.
