A Veteran Commits Suicide Every 80 Minutes, Center For A New American Security Study Reveals -- Huffington Post

A veteran commits suicide every 80 minutes, according to a study published Monday.

The staggering statistics released in a Center for a New American Security Suicide report revealed that suicide among Iraq and Afghanistan veterans remains an area of prime concern, armytimes.com reports. In the fiscal year 2009 alone, this demographic made 1,868 suicide attempts.
