My Comment: I find it hard to agree with the General's assessment .... especially in view of the terror attacks that occurred this week in Georgia/India/Thailand, Iran's continued support of the Assad regime in Syria, Iran's rhetoric against Israel, and Teheran's threats to close the Strait of Hormuz because of sanctions. The Iran conflict is intensifying step by step, and if Iran feels cornered politically and economically .... who knows what they will be capable of .... especially if unrest in Iran continues to escalate because of economic and political issues.
