My Comment: A conspiracy theory to read about during the weekend. As to what is my take .... the war was over and General Patton's ability to influence events (i.e. to start a conflict with the Soviet Union) was severely limited. In addition .... when the Soviet Union fell the records of the former NKVD/KGB became opened .... there is no mentioned about Soviet involvement in the assassination of Patton.
