Top military officials have been warned not to have sex with attractive women in Russia or China in case they are spies, it has been reported.
A leaked document says agents of the FSB, Russia's intelligence service and successor to the Soviet-era KGB, could attempt to lure British officials into bed and then blackmail them.
The document, the Ministry of Defence Manual of Security, warns senior officers that the FSB, could gain valuable intelligence by exploiting 'knowledge of marital infidelity or sexual activity the target may wish to hide'.

My Comment: If I am reading this right .... the UK is telling its top officials to not have sex with beautiful young girls .... but it is OK to have sex with ugly young girls.

Yep British logic, beutiful girl eguals spy ;) I higly doubt Chinese girls are "honeytraps" but I am unsure of the Russian ones, do you know of any cases this happened? Also just a question, which country do you think has the most beautiful girls? Also who is your favorite girl in name?. Since I remember when you mentioned some ukrainian onces which had good music and looks.
When I was first deployed by the Foreign Office I had to sit down in a class where this was discussed. Bottom line .... we can sleep around all that we want .... but tell no secrets and do not bring back any diseases.
A total waste of time.
Which country has the most beautiful girls? .... I am not going to answer that question .... cough cough .... Russia, Ukraine, French Canadians, central Europe.
But when it comes to settling down with someone ... my advice is .... how they look becomes less and less important with time. It is the other qualities that makes each of us unique that becomes more and more important (intelligence, common sense, loyalty, etc.).
I concur, I myself have some intersts and traits that are unsual and it makes it more difficult for me to talk "deeply" with girls who dosent share my intersests. So if I am going to look for a girlfriend I would firstly look at personality and intersests etc, also I agree with you looks are a factor but should not be the deciding one since looks change the person you love dosen't change. A very simpistic quote but I hope the meanning is understandeble. Also the country thing, I agree with you there. Also very nice to know that info about Forign office in the Soviet Union. Very nice to know somthing about it from somone who lived there and exsperienced it. Thats also one of the thing I like with your blog, you share some of your moments in life and some of your expirinces that I and the other readers find interesting and I hope you will continue with that it helps very much and it also makes me learn some things I diden't know.

Pretty much - but now MoD officials can feel accomplished, and can say "we told you so" if somehow it transpires that an official did fall for this and release something incriminating in the process.
