CNN: Turkey, EU reps reach deal on plan for handling refugees

(CNN)European Union and Turkish officials reached an agreement Friday on how to deal with a flood of Syrian refugees.

Preben Aamann, spokesman for European Council President Donald Tusk, tweeted Friday afternoon that the meeting involving Turkish Prime Minister Ahmet Davutoglu and key European officials had ended.

That set up the next step: A meeting with representatives from the 28 European Union member states to determine if they'll give their final approval.

The talks were held to address the largest influx of refugees into Europe since World War II, though the more than 1 million people who have fled to there pale compared to the more than 2.7 million registered in Turkey alone. The discussions could be significant for Turkey not only in receiving financial aid to deal with this problem, but also expedite its push to join the 28-member European Union.

The deal is, the "refugees" going to Western Europe are in fact NOT Syrian, the refugees are from every nation the 'West' dropped bombs on over the last ten years. And the deal is to exchange the low quality majority of refugees from other nations for high quality refugees from Syria.

Want to stop refugees going to Western Europe?

Stop dropping bombs.

Namibia should tell the lackeys at the UN to go straight to hell. It's OK for the US and toady buddies to invade, occupy, tear up, sew confusion and chaos wherever they roam but Namibians should be Concerned about who they get to supply their weapons and training?

Whatever.

Where was the UN and the whole concerned citizens for right, wrong and what's happening now movement when Namibia was under South African occupation and it's leading member states were routinely violating the sanctions on S. Africa? All of a sudden Namibia should concern herself with their N. Korean pissing contest?

One day a leader is going to stand up in the General Assembly and give the US, EU, Canada, the UK, Australia and all their little lick spittle cronies (e.g. Ukraine, the GCC, Columbia) the finger right to their faces. It's long over due.
