RT: North Korea seizes Russian yacht with crew in neutral waters

Sportsmen aboard the Elfin yacht were returning to Vladivostok from an international regatta in the South Korean port of Busan, when it was waylaid by what had appeared to be a fishing boat sailing under the North Korean flag.

WNU Editor: This is only a 28 footer .... calling it a big yacht is stretch. But it is making a huge splash in Russian news.

WNU,
" calling it a big yacht is stretch" Apparently it was previously owned by Marco Rubio.
Of course you know this has to be a result of either general policy (standing order) or an explicit order. Either way would have to come from the very top. If it is the latter the question would be what is Kim after from the Russians. As a guess I think it's a sign of desperation.

Marco Rubio's was actually smaller.
Best line from him on his "yacht" .... the bathroom was on the side of the boat .... that is where you had to pee.

Russia and North Korea have generally been allies. This entire thing could be staged to make US officials believe there's "daylight" between them. This claim needs to be treated with a degree of skepticism. If there's dissension between North Korea and Russia, this could be good news. US officials are quick to embrace such things while dismissing or downplaying that which is unpleasent. This makes them easy to dupe.
