Pentagon Changes Rules Of Engagement In The Battle For Mosul

WNU Editor: From the AP .... U.S. changes rules of engagement for Mosul fight in Iraq (Military Times/AP). In short .... U.S. and western coalition forces are now embedded on the front-lines, and when contact with the enemy is made .... calling in air strikes to eliminate the enemy are expedited.

On a side note .... critics on the U.S. led bombing campaign are raising concerns .... US-led coalition is 'killing more civilians than Russia' (The Telegraph).

This fear of killing civilians to the point it hampers you, has got to stop. It's a WAR, people die in war that is a FACT, hand wringing over it, makes it worse.
