Has China Just Issued A Red Line For War Against North Korea?

China Topix: China Lays Down Red Line for Military Strikes against North Korea’s Nuclear Plants

China will attack North Korea's facilities producing nuclear bombs and has revealed the "Red Line" North Korea must cross for this act of war to occur.

The editorial in the newspaper Global Times, which is owned by the People's Daily (the newspaper of the Communist Party of China), said the threat of a "nuclear leakage or pollution" at North Korea's nuclear facilities that damages the environment of northeast China (which shares a border with North Korea) will trigger a response from China.

Commentary: China’s bottom line on DPRK nuclear issue (Huang Panyue, Global Times). Its posting and quickly removal tells me that the Chinese government is still not sure on how to approach North Korea .... but there is clearly a lot of hostility from Beijing now being directed at North Korea, and they are telegraphing to everyone their wish that North Korean leader Kim Jung-un was gone .

Yep. This sat on zero hedge all morning. No one else picked it up. Probably for good reason. Almost too good to be true, right?

I guess we'll know if Kim Jong-un decides not to cook off his nuke-test/demo this month.
