Times Of Israel: Iranian commander in Syria: US troops are pants-pissing wimps

During pep talk to his forces in eastern Syria, Qassem Soleimani seen on video accusing cowardly American soldiers of wearing diapers.

The head of Iran’s powerful Quds Force derided American soldiers as incontinent cowards in a speech to troops during an offensive to retake a strategic eastern Syria town from the Islamic State.

There's a real danger here that the Iranians will actually believe their own propaganda, in which case this can lead someone, in this case, the Iranians to do something stupid.

Consider the source. Did he charge across the minefields with the Iranian kids back in the 80's?

what evidence does he have that they do wear diapers?

I'd like to see him say that to a delta operator.

He is an amazing man from humble circumstances. He has shown himself fearless in battle; absolutely bulletproof fearless. And he has been wounded in battle. He climbed the ranks the hard way. He is not a coward, you should not underestimate him.

So the great Jay cannot translate Farsi or get someone one reliable and credible who can?

So far all I hear form Jay is an ad hominem attack against MEMRI.

Young men have less status and wealth to lose than older established men.

Just because a guy is a hero, brave or reckless, when he is young, does not mean he is now.

Benedict Arnold was certainly braver than his commander at Saratoga. But he did not have perseverance to end the war honorably.

There will be more "reliable" translations coming out in the next few days.

Love how 'Murkin's keep getting sucked into losing mideast wars off of Israeli propaganda.

"“No one in this world, so far as I know — and I have searched the records for years, and employed agents to help me — has ever lost money by underestimating the intelligence of the great masses of the plain people. Nor has anyone ever lost public office thereby.”

"The mistake that is made always runs the other way. Because the plain people are able to speak and understand, and even, in many cases, to read and write, it is assumed that they have ideas in their heads, and an appetite for more. This assumption is a folly."

H.L. Menchen, Sept.19, 1926

Soleimani might know that some soldiers wear 'diapers'. So he exaggerated. He feels good about saying whatever is on his mind, because Iran is on top right now.

Soleimani meant what he said.

You are hardly the one to accuse another of verbal attacks! Clean up your own poop before accusing others of pooping
