This Is What Happens When Bureaucracies Rum Amok

WNU Editor: Growing up in the Soviet Union I lived through worse. There was a time when just to get the proper paper work to travel to Leningrad (now Saint Petersburg) from Moscow involved going to see three bureaucrats in three different places. Just to travel between two freaking cities!!!!! For as long as I will live, I will never forget the faces of the men and women who worked at these bureaucracies .... who felt that this was an important job, and they were providing a valuable service to the state. While all that they were doing eight hours a day was filing paperwork that said someone like me had to travel to Leningrad .... correction .... Saint Petersburg for two days. I could rant all night on this .... the joys of living in a communist state .... one bureaucratic torture session after another.

I hate these kind of people. .time wasters who make everyone's life miserable.. but they get some kind of energy and satisfaction from it ...oh and try to tell them that they're taking a lot of your time and they'll use every bit of their power to pounce on you...how dare you complain about the obvious. .. Scum of the earth. They're like school bullies. .just not physically strong. ..but they find a niche where they can thrive and when you enter that niche because you have to by law, they just savor every second of it...I've seen so many of them who get this sick perverted pleasure of making your life miserable and when you have no choice. .it's a power thing I guess, sprinkled with incompetence and lethargy on top. .. I really think they're mentally diseased and need help ...and we need protection from these kind of people

all bureaucracies are messy, incompetent, and awful; on the other hand, private enterprise left unregulated, is monopolistic, greedy, criminal...choose one because that is all there is
