US National Security Adviser John Bolton Says U.S. Will Not Cooperate With International Criminal Court

DW: US threatens to arrest ICC judges over war crimes probe

Washington will sanction and prosecute ICC judges who open an investigation into US war crimes in Afghanistan, said a top official. In November, the ICC chief prosecutor requested a probe into criminal action by the US.

US National Security Adviser John Bolton on Monday threatened to sanction and prosecute International Criminal Court (ICC) judges if the tribunal attempts to charge US service members and intelligence agents with war crimes.

"The United States will use any means necessary to protect our citizens and those of our allies from unjust prosecution by this illegitimate court," Bolton said in a speech delivered to the conservative Federalist Society in Washington.

Well if you are going to disregard your agreement regarding war crimes and torture and commit war crimes and torture, of course you are going to try to demean and discredit the ICC. That the US is two faced at times is not news.

Hear that?
It’s Merkel screaming her hatred for President Trump across the Atlantic.

Bob, news to you evidently the USA never approved the ICC membership under Obama. Nor Bush, the idiot. Nor Bill Clinton, accused of rape by a few women.
More news, as a sovereign state the USA is free to ignore other counties laws, customs, traditions and sex practices as regards it’s own citizens.
More news to Bob, neither Russia nor China nor India are members of the ICC.

Well......this works only if the US was a minor participant in some war funded by others. However, the US led the effort AGAIN with US Tax payer funds and has decimated the Threats to the World. So you can take your attitude and shove it dude. Were not perfect and the world needs us!

Anon, thanks for making my point. By the way from your rants I get the feeling you are actually Trump posting as Anon. True?

Michael can you justify Iraq II as an act of decimating the threats to the world given in particular the resultant rise of ISIS a previously none existent entity? Yemen? Vietnam? Various South American activities?

"ISIL originated as Jama'at al-Tawhid wal-Jihad in 1999, which pledged allegiance to al-Qaeda

It was founded in Jordan in 1999 and was led by Jordanian national Abu Musab al-Zarqawi for the entirety of its existence."

"given in particular the resultant rise of ISIS " - The Master Speaks.

Gulf WAR 2 was in 2003.

2003 and 1999 are not the same year Mr .

There is a reason the US, ISIS and Al Qaeda are not a party to the FCC. The reason, the FCC's goal is hunting down punishing perps that commit crimes against humanity, war crimes, and the US along with ISIS and Al Qaeda are such perps.

States parties to the Rome Statute of the International Criminal Court

"There is a reason the US, ISIS and Al Qaeda are not a party to the FCC."

First, it is the ICC dumbshit.

Second, not one superpower power has signed on. The Europeans are not superpowers. In all but two cases they are not major powers either and that is debatable. Over half the world's population is not signed up

Third, people who have signed up a bunch of hypocrites. Those would be European leaders. Those are the total ASSHOLES, who had the United States do for them what they could not or would not do, bomb Serbia and Libya.

Fourth, given the number of crimes prosecuted versus the number of crimes committed, prosecution is the exception rather than the rule. That makes the ICC nothing more than a political tool and a convenient way to virtue signal.

Look at Koney. He is still free and still killing people. What has the ICC done?> What have member nations done? What has Canada done>? What have you done? Nothing.

Oh you have done a little . You have sat your 60 (+/- a few) year old ass onto a soft chair so not as to damage your soft tush and made like a keyboard commando.

South Africa signed onto the ICC and that means what exactly?

That a fraction of white farmers will survive to flee to Russia?

Cameron signed and that means what? You wag a finger at the authorities in Cameroon for butchering English speakers?

The 57 states of the OIC are not signatories or have not ratified the ICC by & large. So there is a whole civilization that has not signed on.

The one civilization that has signed on is moribund or dead, because of wipes like you.

Face it mope, the German superpower is not going to go to Africa, Asia or South American and turn anyone over to the ICC for prosecution.

You had a few people from the old Yugoslavia that were prosecuted and a person like you had very little to do with it. A stupid person like yourself, a complete imbecile, does not realize that without the U.S. that would never happen either. Yet, you hate the U.S. above all else.

My point is made. If I don't put some kind of error in my posts to you you ignore them so enamoured are you with you inability to respond without showing your ignorance that you cannot resist.

The point is, the US is an international war crimes perp which is why they so dislike the ICC. You know bad guys always hate the cops?

Now I bet you will not be able to resist responding to try and tell me I spelled enamoured wrong. Right?

As for hating the US, no I don't hate the US it is just you who hates honesty.

By the way, the US's interest in that pipeline is they are hoping Russia will be cut off from a primary source of their revenue, selling gas to Europe.

BH aka bankster,

It started in Tunisia when a street vendor, Mohamed Bouazizi, who could not make ends meet set himself on fire.

Syria is a place that make the Argentinian disappearances look like child's play.

You have not one shred of evidence that the CIA or whatever fomented the unrest in Syria that led to th rebellion. Washington DC leaks like a colander and you have not one shred of evidence. Besides that we had Mr Ankle grabber for president.

You could not do the math on the Arab spring protests. You are too stupid. I am not at all surprised that you retired early. You got out dodge when the getting was good.

You are unhinged. The links you provided have nothing to do with my last comment that the US is a war crimes "perp"? Have a review of Iraq II

if you want to see war crimes. Yemen is also a good example, both recent enough and in some cases still happening.

America is no longer a country that obeys laws, international or its own, if in fact it ever was. The killing of Anwar al-Awlaki, his son and for

sure his 7 year old daughter, a little girl for Christ sakes, Nawar, all American citizens ordered by Obama (the father and son) and Trump (the

daughter) were extra judicial murders as in without trial as is supposedly guaranteed for every American citizen by the Constitution. Have you

ever read your country's Constitution ANON? Give it a read, eh. Be careful ANON your own President could easily order your execution with no

trial and suffer no consequences. They are perps ANON and at minimum Bush II, Cheney and many members of that sad administration should

and hopefully will eventually go to trial in an international court. An international court because at this point nobody in the USA has the balls or

the ability to do the job. You ever wonder what Obama got to let Bush an company off the hook? Money most likely but probably he and his

family just got to stay live, oh and avoid prosecution himself of course.

There are many Americans who say the same things I have said and they have been saying all along. Hopefully, one day the honest folk will take charge, then watch out.

By the way I spent my life working as a machinist in an elevator factory. Imagine this if you can. A manufacturer of elevators with its entire, very large, operation but on only one floor.

All talk and no play. BS walks. But you do a lot of walking. It is why you are not married. You are BS through and through.

You think American citizenship is as simple as dropping trou. It figures. One law for Canada you may think right and another for America you think is right.

Don;t worry, you showed your hand, the next iteration of the Constitution will take into account your disingenuous lies.

How many countries have you dropped trou in bro?
