I don't understand this crisis. Of course that's bad to kill a journalist, but why only this one? There are many crimes worse than that in China, Iran...and so on without this hype.

Too bad, I was hoping MBS would get sacked. Little bastard is feeling total power. His downfall would send a message to those around him with a stake in the royal family, but I guess they've settled on this tyrant. Decency will never prevail.

I hope the Prince isn't deterred in his quest to bring SA into the 20th century.
I also wonder why there is not a link in the long list of links accompanying the article that gives insight into the reporter's affiliation, if any, with groups unacceptable to the current regime. I have seen these stories about a Khashoggi with Brotherhood links, spy, and other stuff but not from the mainstream press headlines. Should I be reading all the stories linked tonight behind these headlines? Lot of reading on one subject folks.
Time will tell, I guess. Still, something seems not quite 100% true. Fist fight death? Let me see the autopsy.

Khashoggi, was a political IED. Set off to drive a wedge between SA and its allies. Khashoggi, went in knowing he would be a martyr. Why enter in the first place? God's Will be done.

SA has to define the preps and bring them to justice for the world. Just more casualties of Islamic Terrorism.

I totally agree that Khashoggi should NEVER have been killed for any reason. And the people held responsible SHOULD be punished. However, the same way media outlets outside the MENA region were quick to publish a negative story from the region, that is the same way they should make good things from the region go viral. If this balance is not done, people outside the MENA region will only have a negative perception of this region because they see more of the negative news. Read this article to see what I'm saying.

"He [Kashoggi] dissociated himself from bin Laden following the [September 11, 2001] attacks"

Kashoggi did not disassociate himself from Osama's attacks of August 7, 1998?

"213 people were killed in the Nairobi blast, while 11 were killed in Dar es Salaam.

An estimated 4,000 in Nairobi were wounded, and another 85 in Dar es Salaam"

DEAD 224
Wounded 4,085

Kashoggi did not disassociate himself from Osama then. It was only after 911.

AFRICAN LIVES are WORTH LESS to KASHOGGI?

3,000 the MAGICAL # ?

Apparently the Washington Post wants it both ways.
Its owner, Jeff Bezos - a potential democrat candidate is having a lot of close ties to that very same Saudi Prince suspected to have order this hit:

On top, the Washington post seems to receive money from those Saudis to write nice articles about them and push their agenda.
So wtf is going on? The newspaper is deeply involved in Saudi affairs, Bezos is deeply involved, but on CNN they try to spin it so that Trump is the villain? WTF

It's difficult, if not impossible for normal guys like you or I, to ever know for sure what really happened. Here are my thoughts:

1) Saudi Arabia is not a real friend. We use them and they use us for shady wars and counter-terror operations. Yet they are the ones who likely financed 9/11 and green-lighted it (remember, the majority of the hijackers were Saudis).

2) That the journalist died in a fist fight is not believable. They sent 15+ people to "interrogate" him and had bone saws with them. Then burried him in that forest outside Istanbul. I do not trust -anything- they say now.

3) Saudi Arabia is one of the largest human rights violators, but China is worse (just by numbers).

4) CNN and MSNBC all have the same message: It's Trump's fault. Trump's "fake news is the enemey of the people" is changed to "news is the enemy" (leaving out the fake bit). But we all agree FAKE news is really bad for us all, so they spin his words to make it look like he is a tyran.

5) The midterms are coming up. So far we have lies, mob mentality, intimidation tactics and almost changing of bedrock aspects of our law and society (innocent until proven guilty and stop of civil discourse until "we are in power again" - see Clinton's comments) on the left.

My advice to everyone: Look beyond the noise. Do not trust CNN anymore. I cannot put my finger on what exactly is going on, but I do know what they have said ON CAMERA. To end civil discourse, to harass people, that people are guilty until proven innocent (flipping 200 years of law upside down). For the love of God, do not vote Democrat this time. We can all vote Democrat again when they have returned to being a great party that upholds OUR principles. We all want civil discourse. We want justice. But currently I just cannot see that from my good old party. Hence I vote Republican first time ever. And the Washington Post/Bezos connection to Saudi Arabia should be investigated. But no word on this on CNN. Fake news.. .riiiight

I don't know.. but now that I think of it, I wouldn't be surprised if it happens more often than you or I assumed. It's freaking shocking. .but that's the thing - we all need papers and passports renewed. That means going to the embassy. And I would not be surprised if Iran, North Korea, China, Saudi Arabia and also Russia - all famous for killing journalists every (!) Year by the dozens use this method to reliably get their fingers on those people. It's freaking scary. And I do not believe the fist fight excuse. They had 15 people send for interrogation and had bone saws ready to go. To nl me they are murderers. Having said all that, the Washington post seems to on one side report on Saudi Arabia, on the other side they do lobbying work for them and get paid a lot of money every year. Every news organisation that does that is conflicted in my book and this is not normal. It seems also to be the case that cnn, wapo, nyt, msnbc are hell bent to blame trump for that. Why Trump? The owner of the Washington Post is Jeff Bezos - and he's deep in bed with the Saudis. Just Google for pics of Bezos with the Prince. All a bit shady.

BS. And you need to go to embassy to get papers. Have you never had to do this?

The local consulate where I live does contracts out and hires American nationals as security.

Lots of Russian journalists get murdered and the Washington Compost never bats an eyelid.
