Report: Saudi Arabia, UAE, And Jordan Will Send Troops To Support Kurds In Syria While U.S. Forces Leave

Middle East Monitor: Saudi Arabia, UAE send troops to support Kurds in Syria

While the announcement by President Donald Trump this week that the U.S. would withdraw its remaining troops from Syria seemed sudden, a Jordanian source told Yisrael Hayom that the step has actually been in planning for months – and that Israel, Jordan and Saudi Arabia would work with Russia in limiting Iran’s ability to act in Syria, with the blessing of Washington.

According to the report, officials of all five countries have been conferring for several months on the prospective American withdrawal. Despite the troop withdrawal, the U.S. will continue to be active in the Middle East, and in fact will increase its intelligence efforts and its security cooperation with Israel, Jordan and Saudi Arabia.

Update #2: Israel, Jordan, Saudi Arabia join forces against Iran in Syria -- JNS

WNU Editor: Apparently Israel and Egypt have been consulted on this plan, with Egypt giving it's support and Israel going one step forward by committing itself to even greater military operations in Syria .... Israel to escalate fight against Iran in Syria after U.S. exit: Netanyahu (Reuters). Russian media is also reporting on this story, and verifying reports that Russia will not interfere if the Saudis get involved in eastern Syria. No comment yet from the White House, and no reporting so far from the Western media on this story.

This may also explain why Turkish President Erdogan has postponed military operations in eastern Syria. He will be confronting Saudi and UAE military forces, and not just the Kurds.

I remember when Trump announced the redeployment and certain people went bonkers over the Kurds crying in hysteria about how they are being abandoned and were going to be slaughtered. Keep in mind many of these people who were doing this had never expressed any interests or concerns about them before. Not only this but they had to ignore or downplay the huge benefits the Kurds have received from America.

Were I a Kurd I would have been offended by this political grandstanding using us as props and double shame on the Kurdish leaders and pundits who jumped on this. From the start I suspected they were and are full of crap. As information such as this comes forth those suspicions are confirmed. The Kurds are not being abandoned. The sky is not falling. The Kurds are not about to be slaughtered. Chicken Little's hysteria was unfounded. In this case, his messaging is not even clever but easily seen through.

My eyesight is poor. Therefore I was unable to pursue military service. At a couple of times I considered looking for a way to fight on behalf of the Kurds but with my eyesight this was not and is not possible. President Trump is actually doing more the Kurds and has done more for them within the framework of what reasonably can be done than any other US leader. Kudos to him.

"my eyesight this was not and is not possible. ..."

1) I call bullshit.
2) What is your vision corrected?

BCVA is 20/200 in the right eye. 20/400 in the left eye. BCVA means "best corrected visual acuity."

On the one hand, thank you for asking. On the other hand, you had no valid reason to doubt my claims or accuse me of "bullshit." "My eyesight is poor" should have been sufficient.

If you want to discuss such issues further, contact me through my company website of Www.fosheecpa.com. I'm happy to do so. I don't think you will as I don't think you are a serious individual.

In the, meantime, back to the discussion at hand. President Trump is by far and away the best friend in America the Kurds have ever had. Shame on Kurdish leaders who would undermine this for short term gain. Fortunately for them POTUS isn't such a shallow man.

As for general Matt is, he we'd himself to failed policies in order to advance. There's no shame here. He isn't the first to do so and he won't be the last. Fortunately he's done the honorable thong and resigned. Now he needs to remember how classy POTUS was and KEEP HIS MOUTH SHUT!!
