US diplomats are heading to the airport in Caracas amid reports of the arrival of 400 Russian mercenaries flown in to support President Nicolas Maduro against an opposition leader who wants to replace him.

A letter from a US embassy security officer requesting a police escort for a caravan of 10 vehicles was leaked earlier in the day and published on social media by a journalist for state-owned TV network Telesur. Its authenticity was confirmed by a US source.

WNU Editor: My one source in Caracas has been telling me for the past year that there are hundreds of Cuban security personnel in the Venezuelan capital. I do not know if this is true, but one of my Russian sources confirmed to me that this Reuters story of Russian military contractors being in Venezuela s true. As to the number of russians that are present, he does not know.

It won’t get real until Sean Penn and Danny Glover are on the ground.

Just don't get caught in the middle of the United States interests. Like Clint Eastwood said, dying ain't much of a living.☠️

The following are American interests

- To not let Venezuela expel 50% to 90% of its population on the rest of the region destabilizing it.

- To not Let liberal thugs ruling Venezuela to persecute 50% top 90% of its population

- To not allow Venezuela to be a way station, processing point and money laundering point for drugs

- To keep Maduro & liberals from cozying up to autocracies like Hezbollah and Iran.

Pro tip Mauro looks like steer, 2 huge sides of beef, to the starving serfs of the Great Socialist State of Venezuela. To the peasants Maduro looks like a lumbering buffet. He needs the protection.
