Who Will Joe Biden Pick As His Choice For Vice President?

Axios: Biden confidants see VP choices narrowing to Harris and Rice

Confidants of Joe Biden believe his choices for vice president have narrowed to Sen. Kamala Harris and Susan Rice — and would be surprised if he picks anyone else.

The state of play: This is a snapshot of the nearly unanimous read that we get from more than a dozen people close to him.

* Of course, it comes with a giant asterisk: Only Biden knows for sure, and the more insiders know, the less they say to reporters.
* He's not expected to announce his choice for another week or so — the Democratic convention begins Aug. 17 — so that reality could certainly change.

What's happening: The campaign is now in methodical mode as it finalizes vetting, looks at internal polling results on potential picks and talks to finalists one-on-one.

* In third place is Rep. Karen Bass (D-Calif.), who had a faltering performance on the Sunday shows after revelations about her past views on Cuba and Scientology.

Update: Sources Close to Biden Say He's Narrowed His VP List to Two (PJ Media)

WNU Editor: This is a tough one for me. Mainly because it is easier for me to say who he should not pick rather than who he should pick. All of the names that have been thrown in the air have a lot of baggage that will hurt the Biden campaign, and I do not see any of them being an asset in swing states that the former Vice President needs to win. But if I had to choose, it will be Susan Rice. Both Rice and Biden are creatures of Washington. They have known and worked with each other for many years. She is someone that Biden trusts, and she presents herself well on TV. Her weakness is no one knows how she will be as a campaigner. I looked and could not find any videos of her in campaign mode in front of a large audience. What Biden needs is someone to dominate the campaign trail. To hit 4 or 5 campaign spots daily, because he certainly does not have the energy to do it. If Biden does not choose Rice, it will be due to this lack of campaign experience. And if Sen. Kamala Harris is chosen, it will be due to her ability to campaign all across the country and to motivate the Democrat base because many of them are only motivated to vote Trump out rather than voting Biden in.

What was wrong with Tulsi Gabbard as a Democratic Candidate? Was she too anti-war?

Tulsi is a 2nd class citizen in the New World Order. Her sin is that she was not born Black.

It is not the Jesse Jackson's Rainbow Coalition with all the hues of the rainbow. BIPOC seems to be the acronym and word of choice. you can think of BIPOC as being analogous to a train, where all the important people sit toward the front and the not so important people sit toward the back. The BIPOC train has blacks 1st, indigenous 2nd, and every else gets scraps. The Obama regency made it very clear that in the pecking order Blacks come before Hispanics. BIPOC shows that indigenous come before Hispanics. That are not a lot of indigenous people, so black supremacists do not care if they are at the table. They won't take up too many seats. Asians are just lucky they are not all called white-Asians by the NYT and sent to death camps by libs. Hispanics need to remember that Blacks are in charge and are suppose to get the lion's share of all the spoils.

dear anon--
grow up. VP used to be picked for geographical area they represented in order to garner votes from key states...now in an age of diversity, esp. for Dems, VP choices are wisely picked for ethnicity and/gender...that is smart political thinking rather than the snarky stupid remarks you make.
Am consists of more than white passive Pence types

So the choice Boots or the Swamp Creature?

Maybe Willie Brown taught Boots a thing or two.

Considering 10:32's comment he'd make a perfect match for Biden.

Dear sociology major,

Grow up. I know 3 sociology majors from meeting them in person or reading their writings. You are by far the most ignorant and a net loss to society. I can't think of anything of value that you provided.

South Africa and Zimbabwe fill offices by ethnicity. How is that going?

Pence is a great guy. I like how you bad mouth him. Why did you not use your old stand by and call Pence a girlie boy? I can see you are frustrated with Pence. In the era of "Me Too" you cannot get him that way. I also like how your anti-white animus shows through. Nothing like showing your true colors.

Is Pence passive or just quietly getting things done? VP is supposed to play 2nd fiddle to the Prez. It has always been that way. I guess attending meetings, getting compromise and.or persuading is bad. I guess according to our sociologist the wat to be is active. active as in your face, ASSAULTING POLICE OFFICERS, and BURNING DOWN BUILDINGS.

Two culturally Jewish boys. One form Connecticut and form NYC. Both studied sociology. Both became social workers. Both hated the low pay. One PhD ethno-botanist and is a success. The other not so much. One is nationally ranked.

One is capable of learning. He said his book "The Political Zoo" was not a smooth move. He called one competitor "Wallbanger".

The other guy learns not at all.
