Watching the news, one sees constant stories about COVID numbers rising, yet again, now almost two years into this pandemic, with COVID hospitalizations in some states higher than they have ever been except for the spike last December.
In my state of Colorado, the test positivity rate is almost 10 percent, with 1 in 48 infected and if the current trend continues, this will be the worst COVID spike the state has seen. On the surface, that doesn’t make sense, since nearly 80 percent of eligible Coloradans have received at least one vaccine dose, suggesting the vaccines are not working as well as they should or as advertised, or that vaccine immunity is waning, hence the push for booster injections.

WNU Editor: I live in Canada and even though over 80% of the population is double vaccinated, our case loads and deaths are climbing. You know public authorities and politicians are panicking when they make ridiculous claims like "….we must protect the vaccinated from the unvaccinated…", and talk of more restrictions and booster shots.

In addition to regular appearances on radio programs, Joondeph has authored a blizzard of articles questioning fatality data, the effectiveness of facial coverings and plenty more for a wide range of conservative publications and news sites, including the Daily Caller, the Washington Examiner and Liberty Nation.
Typical is November 30's "The COVID Case Con Continues," an article published on the American Thinker website, in which Joondeph asserts that "saying someone with a positive COVID test is a 'case' is fraudulent. For comparison, blood glucose has an upper test limit of 140. Is everyone above that number a diabetic? Even if they just ate a doughnut or ice cream cone before testing? Or does it take more than a single blood glucose level before one is diagnosed with diabetes? Does a single elevated blood pressure test make one hypertensive? Certainly not."
But unlike deniers, Joondeph doesn't see COVID-19 as an outright hoax, in part because his wife was infected with the disease in March and became extremely ill; she still suffers from lingering effects many months later. Because her illness came so early in the pandemic, Joondeph wasn't tested to determine if he, too, contracted the novel coronavirus, but it's likely, since a subsequent examination found antibodies in his system. If he also caught the malady, however, he was asymptomatic.

If you go through medical school you have basic biology wired and maybe some microbiology as well. What is really needed is a knowledge of statistics. Anyone with a sound knowledge of statistics can reasonably opine, make salient points, question experts and not make a fool of themselves. Instead they have a good chance of making fools of order taking experts. Fauci is just such an order taking expert.
People who are trained in statistics are economists social scientists, engineers, physicists, chemists, mathematicians, business majors and a whole slew of other people.
These people and others see that the numbers and the methodology do not add up.
People without a shred of statistics training know something is up when the authorities do not routinely test vaxxed people for COVID as often as unvaxxed. A doctor in California let that nugget drop. She complained that the a college football team that would have to sit out a game should never have been tested for corona, since they were vaxxed. It makes it harder to get good data, when politicians and others make such decisions. It makes computing the statistics correctly harder, which probably the point.

Of course, all certified doctors know and study some basics of the body. But the basic in med school is hardly preparation for a specialist within the medical field. I have a relative in 2nd year med school.

Physical beds versus staffed beds.
Maybe a person could used critical path method to find the weakest link and paint a true picture. Various people like liberals like to prefix all their concepts with the word critical to fool people into thinking that liberals (a) can think critically and (b) have thought things through.
Journalists could have made the distinction between physical beds and staffed beds, but chose to lie and push and agenda or they suck at logic.
My take is 10:09 is going to keep on reading shoddy journalism like it is the gospel truth and denigrate Dr. Joondeph.

Much of the article does not rely on any "special" reasoning an epidemiologists might have.
You could try reading the article. Maybe pick out a sentence or paragraph criticize it and the await responses to your criticism or you could keep yanking your wank.
Covid is a scam. The death rate is not what is reported. Who knows how much lower? The only certain thing is Democrats are lying and are an enemy of the United states.

Your comment is not total fucking nonsense. It is a bold faced lie in broad daylight. Many death certificates have been falsified. People have died in traffic accidents, but their death certificates give the cause of death as COVID.
Also their is the difference between dying with COVID and dying from COVID. A person with stage 3 or stage 4 cancer who catches COVID more often than naught dies of cancer not COVID. Some people beat stage 4 cancer, but not often. Few enough people do that it is noteworthy.
The average stay in a nursing home is 5 months. It means that 50 percent people who enter a nursing home are dead by 5 months with COVID or without COVID.
The real death rate would need researcher going though nearly a million death certification to sort it out. No one person can do it at this point.
