The whole exercise is worthless. Is it to give Biden a biump in the polls? Is it State Department employees getting to play?

Why is Mali there? They had a coup. Is it to get the military to play nice?

Pakistan and Bangladesh have horrible human rights records.

Why is Bolivia not invited. They held elections. There is a socialist so the they should automatically be in the good graces of the Washingtonian types.

"Is it to give Biden a bump in the polls?" If so, it won't work. 1.) We are being pummeled by inflation. How do we provide for our families? 2.) Americans are more interested in how they're going to provide for their families in this current environment. How do we stop the hordes of illegals who are invading us from the south that threaten to overrun and destroy us. 3.) We're on the cusp of having a very dangerous mandatory vaccine on us that has limited efficacy. Many of us already have this forced on us I'm order to keep our jobs and feed our families.

Essentially Americans aren't focused on a "democracy" conference. Frankly among those who are paying attention aren't taking them seriously. Until our leadership class properly addresses the shenanigans that took place during the last presidential election, at best they aren't going to be taken seriously with regards to democracy. More likely they're going to be held in utter contempt by pretty much all world leaders. Of course when fools offer goodies they'll take them but they aren't going to be under any delusion with regards to whom they're dealing with!!
