New policy bars unvaccinated soldiers from re-enlistment, promotions as Oklahoma governor says National Guard need not obey Biden's vax mandate.
Soldiers who refuse to get the COVID-19 vaccine and have not requested an exemption will no longer be allowed to re-enlist or be promoted.
That applies to active-duty troops as well as reservists and National Guardsmen, including those serving in states whose governors do not require the vaccine.
Under a policy announced in a Nov. 16 memo signed by Army Secretary Christine Wormuth, troops’ service records will be flagged the day they make their final vaccine refusal, which follows a meeting with a medical professional and a second order to get vaccinated.
This flag will bar them from being promoted, reenlisting, continuing to receive enlistment bonuses, attending service-related schools, or receiving tuition assistance.

The oath says you have to obey LAWFUL orders of those appointed above you.
1) The vaccines is not approved approved by the FDA. The one vaccine is approved by the FDA is not in circulation.
2) The effectiveness of the vaccine falls off exponentially. If Austin and Miley insist on being stupid and they are stupid, there will be more people dying or medically discharged due to pericarditis than dying of COVID.
3) If you think generals are very smart concerning biology and medicine, I give General Mad Dog Mattis. Mattis bought the Theranos fraud hook, line and sinker.
4) I could see the military legitimately ordering service members to take the vaccines, if it was a bio=weapon. Anthrax has been developed as a bio-weapon. This is known. Service personnel were inoculated against anthrax the vaccine was experimental

The comparison of this vaccine to anthrax is interesting. It seems to me that anthrax is considerably more deadly than covid. Only a small percentage of people have issues with covid combined with major downside risks associated with the vaccine. Furthermore even with a mandatory vaccine it's not going to help much as there are so many groups who are being exempted.

A better vax campaign would be very simple. First come first served after those over 65 got theirs. We would have 10% to 20% higher vaccinations rates.

can't follow orders? then you are out. simple as that. they may be wrong. they be right. But you serve you follow orders......or leave. the military has a chain of command and when the top of the command sends orders on down, obey or out. And if you can not accept the order for whatever reason then you are out. There is no other option.

You are only required to follow lawful orders. That word in front of word lawful is a modifier. It is called an adjective. Perhaps, you have heard of adjectives and adverbs. But I have come to expect many things out of you. One is not being good at numbers. Is another not being any good with the written word?
