I saw a big difference between JOs in the late 1980s and in the early 2000s. One reason would be demographics. You have to roll with it or face shortages. Since the mid-1990s every promotion board has had to have a woman and a minority. If anything funky was going on, they would see it, be angered, and report it.

If a person discriminates against one racial group group and/or minority group, they are liable to discriminate against another. Look at whom military people marry. When they are stationed overseas, they marry foreigners, who are very often nonwhite. When they are stationed near big cities, they marry whomever. Your average military member is going to care about "How close can I get to a 10" than what race a person is. Who doesn't?

I would bet $100 that there is more interracial marriage among service members than the general population. If you are in an interracial marriage chances are you won't tolerate racism. If you are married to another service member chances are you won't tolerate sexism.

There is more interracial marriage in the military than there are among members of Congress (Which is the opposite of Progress.).

The Left is solving a non-problem. They are stirring up shit for their personal political
advantage. What ought to be done the them is to reach an agreement with the North Koreans and ship them over there.

The tweet nails it. We have a problem. The priorities of our leadership class are all screwed up.

You've largely nailed it!! Not only are they solving a non-pronlem but are creating one where one didn't exist and are exacerbating another one.

Around the world America is perceived (falsely) as a racist country. We need to counter this false narrative. Appointing a DEI officer not only does nothing to address this but exacerbates the problem. Also, it creates the potential for division and strife where it did not exist before essentially creating a problem that didn't exist.

If we are going to pretend that America ever paid its soldiers well I'll have to laugh. If we are going to say that America does not have a recruitment issue then I'll have to laugh as well. Its supply and demand, not some leftist conspiracy you fucking jokers.
