Video Of The Day

WNU Editor: When I look at the image the Chinese military portrays to the public, they seem more serious about war fighting than the American military. This doesn’t translate into combat effectiveness, but I can only imagine which side will be more effective after decades of such messaging.

@5:29

He really does. He's been making a few bird brain statements of late.

When I look at the image of the Chinese military portrayed to the public, I see a zealous indoctrinated 'Do or Die' mentality. There is no teamwork. There is no companionship. There's just the State. They fight for the State. Not the cause.

With all the problems facing the US military, this isn't one of them.

I disagree that their indoctrination and zealous spirit makes them a more effective army.

WNU is spot on. You cannot sow dissension in the military and the country and expect the countries fighting forces to remain in peak condition of be effective at all. The US is engaged in such an activity. In the US the political and media elites are telling over half the people to fuck off and purposefully disadvantage themselves to advantage one to 3 sevenths of the population. Back 30 years ago. Where I worked an African American was paid 25% more than the white people at work. It is not like this country has not tried hard and accomplished a lot of good. But the limbo bar keeps getting lowered, white people have to limbo and lax African Americans get to step over the bar.

After the French and Russian Revolutions the respective armed forces got their asses kicked. It did not last forever, but there is a window. In fact the Russians got their asses kicked twice, because they had a revolution within a revolution. So they were kicked by the Poles and the Finns.

One more thing about Revolutions. They are never over. Dear Leaders or new leaders need to prove themselves so they continually upset the apple cart. Ask Mao or Stalin.

Mao launched the Cultural Revolution, because the party thanked him and retired him. He did not like being sidelined.
