President Biden announced travel bans from 8 African countries on Friday due to omicron variant
NBC's Chuck Todd challenged President Biden for how he's handled the coronavirus pandemic, particularly in light of the new omicron variant that has prompted the White House to ban travel from several African countries, beginning Monday.
Todd, host of "Meet the Press," suggested that omicron, from which most cases were discovered in southern Africa, was not just a health problem. It's a political one as well for the current administration, he argued, flashing back to when Biden "prematurely" declared a sort of victory over the virus on July 4.
"Ultimately, this is also a political problem," Todd said Sunday. "Biden ran on taming the pandemic and he prematurely declared independence from the virus back in July."

Yet again, Trump pledges that the coronavirus will simply go away
In his first speech after his hospitalization for Covid-19, President Donald Trump stood on a White House balcony on October 10 and made a grand declaration about the coronavirus: “It’s going to disappear. It is disappearing.”
His words might have sounded more dramatic had he not been saying the same thing for eight months.
Trump has stuck to the refrain no matter what has been happening with the pandemic. Since February, the President has declared at least 38 times that Covid-19 is either going to disappear or is currently disappearing.
His proclamations have been wildly inaccurate.
4:30 shows he di not take or did not listen in biology class. He already told us he was functionally illiterate. A typical example of ecology they might show in a biology class is the population dynamics of predator and prey such as foxes and rabbits. Each species will have a population booms followed by population crashes.
It has been argued that COVIDS is lasting as long as it has because of lockdowns. It is sort of like knocking a fire down at a burning house only to have it spring to life again due to hot spots.
We cannot totally put the fire out, because we cannot totally lock down. If we lockdown too long and too completely we risk literally losing the economy and our lives. Just the lockdown we have had have screwed over the economy.

Say you have a scale form 0 to 10,. with 10 being the worse. A virus that is one of the worst would be rabies. It has nearly a 100% death rate. So it is 10. Small pox has a 30% death rate so it is a 3. COVID has a loess than 10 % rate so it is less than 1. It would be .1 top .5. It would be .5, if you were 65 r 70 or above. It would be ,5 if you were elderly, had pre existing conditions and the hospital pencil whipped the forms for government moolah.

We had spike after the first reports in Jan through May 2020. we had another around August/September 2020. Then we had the usual winter spike and now we have another winter spike.
We know the CDC fucked up and fucked up royally. As of fall or winter of 2021, they are or will have combined PCR tests of corona, influenza and RSV. Given the fact that in the 2021 journalists were profusely vomiting garbage such as is influenza a thing of the past because of COVID. The point is the CDC overcounted.

Between homicides and car crash victims being counted as COVID, between cancer patients being counted as COVID victims and people with RSV, flu or other pathogens being designated as being killed by corona, there is a lot of overcounting done.

You do not party maskless, if there is a killed disease going around. There must not be a killer disease going around. Democrat's personal behavior certainly does not convey they believe there is a deadly disease afoot. Trump was right.
