* IT specialist came up with a brilliant last-minute move to thwart the attack Chinese hackers came within minutes of shutting off power to three million Australian homes but were thwarted at the final hurdle.

The Communist regime launched a 'sustained' ransomware attack on CS Energy's two thermal coal plants in Queensland on November 27 - showing what Beijing could be capable of in a wartime scenario.

There were panic stations within the energy firm as employees began to lose access to their emails and other critical internal data.

Let them shut it down. Put it back up and let it change the political landscape. Skin the bastards afterwards.

Australian trade with China comes in at about 213 billion. Trade with the US is about 49 billion. Complicating matters further America has numerous problems both internally and externally that make its continued existence much less continuing it's current position problematic at bthis.

The Aussies know all of this. They are going to tire of this very quickly and will make nice with China. If our leadership class is preparing for war with China, they should know Australia will not help us. The best we can hope from them is hostile neglect in such a war.

49 billion, what a week.🤷

You are off topic Imposter. What is the use of trade with China if on one hand you make a profit trading with them and on the other hand they damage your infrastructure. It could come out as a loss or wash with or without the US existing.

Back to the drawing board dog.

I believe the 49 billion is annual.

Trade is necessary for things Australia needs that can't be readily attained elsewhere. I believe the attacks are carefully calibrated. Think of it as a "warning dhot" whereby China is making it clear the Trade is jeopardy as well other harm should Australia stand with America. As I point out, I don't think Australia is going to support us. They don't want their infrastructure attacked and they need that Trade. This speaks to why China may have done this so I think it's very much relevant to the topic at hand.

Perhaps I misread the situation. I'm certainly happy to discuss this. The "Imposter" slur implies I'm not who I claim to be, is insulting, and adds nothing of value to the discussion.

I'm certainly happy to discuss but if you'd rather engage in childish insults perhaps it is you who needs to go back to the drawing board "dog." "Dog" appears to be yet another childish insult.

It is my considered opinion these attacks are designed to dissuade Australia from helping us or standing with Taiwan. My prediction is it will work. Combined with the Trade that Australia stands to lose and help from them is not expected.

I re read my posts. I should have pointed out how trade and infrastructure attacks work together. I apologize for the lack of clarity.

You could have asked for clarification. This would be a reasonable response. Instead you opted to go for insults and slander. This is by definition trolling.

I'm pretty sure Aussies understand the risks involved in a confrontation with China. Naturally they will want proof that China is behind this.
