The US has recorded more than 815,423 deaths since the start of the pandemic
* Hospitalizations continue to jump 10 per cent, fueled by the new variant and a lack of vaccinations
* Washington, D.C. also saw a 614 per cent increase in infections
* Positive news out of the UK suggests that the new strain is less lethal than the Delta variant
* Biden lifted a travel ban on eight African countries as data shows the new bug is petering out
* The FDA authorized a second COVID-19 pill, but there are some worries about its side effects
Omicron continues to drive a surge of new COVID cases across the US, with Christmas Eve seeing total infections edge closer to the all-time record.
Figures from Johns Hopkins University published Friday show there were 261,339 new cases in the last 24 hours, up 10 per cent from 238,378 the day before.
The number of deaths caused by the virus have also skyrocketed to 3,354, a 52 per cent increase from 2,204 fatalities on Thursday.
That is the highest single-day total since October 13, when 3,054 fatalities were recorded.

WNU Editor: Projections for early 2022 are grim .... 'Enormous spread of omicron' may bring 140M new COVID infections to US in the next two months, model predicts (USA Today). More here .... Omicron wave will crash on US with 60% of people infected by March and 140 MILLION new infections - but 90% will never show symptoms, University of Washington says (Daily Mail).

You know if you have taken calculus or geometry you can calculate slope. The slope of the case rate is higher than the death rate. The correlation between the two is getting weaker and that is a good thing.
Some people on air said they did not want to contract COVID, but if God forbid they did, they would rather contract the omicron strain rather than the delta strain. I guess WNU wants to scare people, which makes me wonder.
I'm noticing this too about the case and death rates. Unfortunately taking calculus and geometry and actually passing such courses requires effort and focus that most aren't willing to undertake.
Geometry is often taught in the tenth grade or was. They have sped things up where they actually teach reading, writing and arithmetic. So it might come a few grades earlier.
The idea of slope could be taught in 5th or 6th grade. Maybe 4th?
It would help Imposter, if you actually did some web searches before you troll ya dumb galoot.
The percentages of calculus are 7%, 15% and 50% by income level.
Wnu amplified the scare tactics of the mainstream media for years
I told him many times that he should inform himself what's going on and he must know by now, and my guess is he always knew and supported the fear drive which brought us lockdowns, destroyed the middle class and so on
He also refused to post what dr. Mullis the novel prize winner and inventor of the PCR test(!!) Had to say about using his test this way(it'll reliably create false positives which they used to further scare everyone and then rush them to taking the vaccines)
Wnu also refused to post the vaccine death and injury data
He also refused to post the Harvard 2009 pilgrim study on VAERS that shows only totally 1%of side effects are ever entered into the system
He also didn't post what dr malone the inventor of the mRNA delivery platform and also novel prize winner had to say about the vaccines
He also didn't report on the biggest story, the massive censorship of biigtech of scientists who are trying to warn the population to not take the vaccines
But whatever, I'm sure wnu is legit, and on our side lol
He's mainstream media with a tiny bit more insights, but if you really want to learn, I recommend David Knight and his show or Tim Pool or Alex Jones or Harrison Smith or even Joe Rogan.. best is for sure David Knight, I'll post his latest if I find it

That's from Thursday, don't think there's a Friday episode this week due to holidays, or haven't found it
math is racist. Shut up, and be afraid.
They teach a "dumbed down" version of these courses in public schools. For kids who are willing and able to put forth the effort other options are available. Unfortunately few are.
Admittedly my post wasn't entirely clear. You could have asked for clarification. Slander abd insults aren't necessary.
Poster up your game boy. You are a broken record. Engaging in information warfare is not for losers and you are a loser. Better find yourself another line of work before your bosses fire you.
I'm actually a Certified Public Accountant. No one pays me for this. Often times I post here because I enjoy the back and forth discussion. Much can be learned.
Instead of insulting me perhaps you could point out where you think my positions are flawed. I may learn something. Instead you choose to insult me. Perhaps you have nothing to offer. I would suggest it is you who needs to "up your game." As I'm not engaging in "information warfare" this doesn't apply to me. If someone were to do this, baseless insults aren't going to advance the cause.
I'm happy to discuss the issue at hand here. If all you have to contribute here are baseless insults, this is a waste of time.
