Bloomberg: Europe Faces Dire Winter as Nuclear Outages Deepen Energy Crunch
(Bloomberg) — Power markets in Europe are approaching breaking point for January and February, with unplanned nuclear reactor halts in France the latest factor in the region’s energy crisis.
French grid operator RTE had already identified the beginning of the year as needing “particular vigilance” in the event of a cold snap.
With three extra nuclear units out of action, France, which typically exports electricity, will now need to import supplies at peak times from neighboring markets that could be short of power as well.

Noooooo! You can't buy russian energy!! Washington says they'll ship over an LNG tanker next year! Just wear extra layers until then.
