If it is such a bad movie, maybe you can list some reasons why? Personally, I think 8 or 9 out 10 movies made about WW2 in the 60s were bad.

They just ran the movie "Where Eagles Dare". I thought it was great 40 years ago. Now, not so much. The movies commentator remarked how the German bullets always hit near the feet of the Allies. Not very realistic. It seems as though the best part of the movie is the opening musical score. In fact if you watch running gun fights for Star Wars movies and "Where Eagles Dare", they are pretty much the same.
