China Daily: Beijing opposes attempts to undermine security, stability of Central Asian nation
President Xi Jinping has expressed China's support for Kazakhstan in quelling the unrest occurring in the neighboring country, saying that Beijing opposes attempts to undermine the security and stability of the Central Asian nation, and also opposes attempts to damage the friendship and cooperation between the two countries.
Xi made the remarks in a verbal message sent to Kazakh President Kassym-Jomart Tokayev on Friday.
In the message, he expressed his sincere sympathy to Tokayev over the unrest in Kazakhstan that has caused major casualties and losses of property.

Whenever China publically expresses its support of such regimes (which is not a rare event), dozens of other countries should publically express their support of Taiwan. But I guess they've got too much skin in the game to do it. That was China's great master stroke. Make them so reliant on Chinese products that they dare not offend the great Pooh Bear.
Nailed it!! When that might fall, we have China's vast military power. Should that fail they're backed up by Russia.
Obviously military alliances between the US, Japan, China, and Australia aren't done under the idea that there's any possibility that they can win. Perhaps stupid American leaders believe such nonsense. Those in the region do not nor are they deluded by delusions of grandeur. Furthermore they fully grasp what the loss of Chinese trade would mean to them. The goal is to make the inevitable Chinese victory so pyric that China won't invade!! To this end they'll use and abuse their American "allies" to the fullest extent possible.
In contrast, eastern European "allies" are actually stupid enough to think a straight on frontal assault of Russia might actually work and sacrificing the lives of their useful idiot American pawns is worth it!!
