Bradley Devlin, The American conservative: Is Ukrainian Democracy Worth War With Russia To Save?

Former Ukrainian President Petro Poroshenko is now under investigation for high treason. His predecessor was convicted for it. Is this unstable democracy worth risking war with Russia to protect? The answer is a resounding no.

Recently, Ukrainian authorities announced former Ukrainian President Petro Poroshenko under formal investigation for high treason, the same charge his predecessor was convicted of just two years ago. Does this sound like a kind of democracy worth shedding American blood to save?

The treasonous activity, according to Ukrainian officials, is his alleged material support of pro-Russia separatist forces in the Donbas. The investigation into the Ukrainian former President emerged from similar charges brought against Viktor Medvedchuk, a pro-Russian lawmaker in the For Life Party with close ties to Russian President Vladimir Putin, for allegedly working with officials in Poroshenko’s administration to buy coal mines in the Donbas to finance separatist efforts. The For Life Party has denied any wrongdoing by Medvedchuk, who has spent the past six months under house arrest.

WNU Editor: This is not how a democracy operates .... Ukraine: President bans opposition media Strana.ua and sanctions editor-in-chief (European Federation of Journalists). More here .... Ukraine: Zelenskiy bans three opposition TV stations (DW). The U.S. will not be supporting a democracy. They will be sorting a very fragmented and corrupt system.

As to how Russians themselves feel about going to war over Ukraine?

I know among my own family, friends, and contacts in Russia. Unless Kiev pursues a policy of genocide against Russian-Ukrainians, there is no interest in Russia to get involved in that messed-up country. A view that even US think tanks are finally discovering .... How Do Russians Feel About a War With Ukraine? (Carnegie).

the usa's "security needs" have nothing to do with it. our government, through the coercive use of privilege, granted to billionaire run social media monopolies and corporate media giants, also silences opposition's. Our justice system is two tiered. So when our masters decide to push Russia to war over Ukraine it will have nothing to do with America's needs but some stupid retarded thinking by morally and worldly corrupt jackasses.

even if the Ukraine were the last democracy on earth, it would still be insane for the USA to risk war with Russia in its backyard

If USA continues to push Russia too hard, it wouldn't be hard for Russia to explode a few nukes high above the USA and create an EMP that would push most of the USA back into the stone age for years, resulting in massive loss of life by starvation and riot. Think about that, President Biden, before you do something stupid.

Caecus would rather eat shit, then go to war.

Russia is in America's backyard. See Nicaragua, Cuba and Venezuela. The Venezuelan front is not active only because Venezuelan is broke not because of lack of desire.

Caecus puts forth a premise and then shits all over it. He is either Russian or a coward.

So to repeat Caecus would rather eat steaming shit coming straight out of an anus than to fight for the last Democracy on Earth. His premise.

To be clear Caecus did not admit he would eat hot steaming shit containing typhus, corona or HIV, but he did not deny it.

"even if Heaven were under assault by Hell, it would still be insane ..."

- Caecus

Caecus set the premise. Caecus through logic showed us how far he was willing or not willing to go.

Ukraine is not a perfect democracy. Depending on how you define things and use them like the corruption index, it may not be or no longer is a democracy.

Might hybrid warfare have something to do with it? A country that is willing to poison an Ukrainian president like motherfuckering Russia would be willing to corrupt Ukrainian officials and other things.

The best approach may not be uphold the borders WW2 style against Russia. Maybe the best approach is to go full scale hybrid warfare against Moscow. Return the favor.

But hybrid warfare can't be expected of a diseased old man, who grew up on Ww2 movies and who uses the n word at home.
