Why did Iron dome not hit the rockets? From the article only 2 rockets were fired (?).

The rockets fell into the Med so they were out of the envelope or the trajectories were obvious and were going to land in the sea, so why waster ammo?

Maybe Hamas wanted to test Israel's reflexes. Is it worth it?\

Between COVID; onerous, wrongheaded, dictatorial government responses, inflation, fuel deficits, and rumors of war, no one is going t give a shit about Hamas.

If the rumors of war pan out, Hamas is gone. If the Israelis feel diplomatic about it they steam roll Hamas and give it over to Egypt or the PLO to administer. Giving it to the PLO makes some sense. It might not make a lot of sense, but it makes some sense. The PLO would settle scores.
