The Russians aren't trolling. You're not that important.
Trump is a big government idiot. He failed to approach this with the proper skepticism that reasonableness would expect or require.

Yeah, people often get vaccines, when there is a communicable disease. The only 2 vaccines I have had problems with is influenza and COVID. Influenza because it is yearly and not a 1 time shot. I hate needles. Also until recently I was not in the category that I had to be wary of catching the flu. The other is COVID. I took the J & J because it was a conventional vaccine and a one shot.
The mRNA vaccine changing the DNA is may not be such a bad thing. The junk DNA in the cell is thought to be full of old viruses. What is one more? The junk DNA is kind of a repository for old 'conquered' viruses and when they come around again, because there are fragments in the repository, it is easier to defeat the pathogen again. That is a theory anyway.
Persuading people to get a vaccine is different than forcing them.
I would tell people to consider getting hepatitis vaccines, meningitis and maybe HPV. That is consider it but now browbeat or force them.
