SKY News: Ukraine: NATO prepares for possible Russian invasion as diplomats fear talks will fail
There are fears Vladimir Putin intends for the talks to fail to create a pretext for war - with a Ukrainian source saying they expect any Russian attack would be intense but limited.
That was the warning from Jens Stoltenberg, the head of the NATO alliance, which is braced for the possibility of a further Russian invasion of the vast eastern European state.
Around 100,000 Russian troops - combat-ready and equipped with artillery, medical supplies and jamming devices to disrupt enemy communications - remain close to Ukraine's border despite weeks of increasingly loud calls from Western capitals to de-escalate.

Come, Vlad, show NATO what you can do and what they can't do!
Other than wring its hands, hold emergency meetings, and issue sternly worded statements, how exactly does NATO "prepare" for ANYTHING absent US firepower. And I doubt the US has the stomach OR means to take on Russia right now. Hey, NATO, sucks when lack of interest in maintaining a world class military alliance comes home to roost, eh? Eat it.

Yes, and the sad truth about NATO and the EU is if/when they do finally get serious again about their military obligations, it will still take YEARS to get back even to what it was before the Wall fell. In other words, realistically speaking, it's probably too late regardless.
NATO is only set up for fighting bandits in Colonial wars. Britain has no strength in depth. No one in Britain has the will to have cities vapourised for the sake of Ukraine. Keep ducking 🙈
Based on a large part of NATOs militaries, NATO preparing, if all this talk was was serious would almost exclusively mean REFORGER.
