Joe Biden's administration has issued a dramatic warning to Vladimir Putin that if he invades Ukraine the key $11bn Nord Stream 2 gas pipeline into Germany will be cancelled.
The Biden administration yesterday warned the Kremlin that it would halt the pipeline using sanctions if there was military action taken against Ukraine.
'I want to be very clear: if Russia invades Ukraine one way or another, Nord Stream 2 will not move forward,' State Department spokesperson Ned Price told reporters.

How can Biden cancel it? Have troops in Germany size the pipeline? That would cancel the SOFA. If he would use the banks to accomplish it, there will be push back.
Maybe Joe could get something if he had a personal relationship with Olaf Schultz. But how would it be possible to Olaf to have a personal relationship with a marsh mellow?
Biden keeps stepping on a rake. Germany is already eager to conduct foreign policy with China, Russia, Iran free from American coercion. This ham handed NS2 threat is beyond stupid since Biden gave it a green light just a few months ago. Putin can run the field with this, as can China. Work with us, we aren’t telling you what to do, we got business to conduct.
With the US out of the way Russia would tell Germany what to do.

I am not happy Joe Biden, who barely knows how to speak anymore, is speaking for Americans. He is a vile, old politician. I did not like when he was young and unlike a fine wine he did not age well.
Europeans have small dog syndrome. They have not liked America in ... forever. One of my parents is naturalized citizen of European extraction. They hated how Europeans would nit pick America's faults and put on airs. There is all sorts of satisfaction, when Europeans have the same problems at a later date after all their criticism.
That 70% of Germans do not like something an American politician is doing regarding Russia is in part a knee jerk action and also an ignorant action by an ignorant electorate.
