Bloomberg: Taliban adding suicide bombers to army ranks to bolster defences
KABUL (BLOOMBERG) - The Taliban will officially recruit suicide bombers to become part of the army as the militant group tries to contain its biggest security threat from rival Islamic State of Iraq and Syria (ISIS) since forming the government in Afghanistan four months ago.
Before sweeping into power last year, the Taliban used suicide bombers as a key weapon to attack and defeat US and Afghan troops in the 20-year war.
Now the group wants to reform and organise the scattered squads of suicide bombers across the country to operate under a single unit and protect Afghanistan, said Taliban deputy spokesman Bilal Karimi.

Japan used them to great effect in WW2. The US invented nuclear weapons enabling us to take a shortcut to victory. Had we not invented this....who knows. History doesn't repeat but it often rhymes!!
The 1st poster, the Russian cut through the woods, does not know how many kamikaze died versus how many allied personnel died. What was the trade off. Cut through the woods does not know the bomb surveys of convention HE or incendiary attacks versus a nuclear one. Cut through the woods. Does not know the effect of submarine warfare, mining and blockade versus kamikaze and nukes. Cut through the woods is ill read. But he keeps up the chatter, so he'll get the Order of Lenin.
