FOX News: Biden Defense Secretary Lloyd Austin tests positive for COVID-19

According to a statement, Austin is fully vaccinated

Secretary of Defense Lloyd Austin has tested positive for the coronavirus on Sunday after experiencing symptoms of the virus while at home on leave.

In an emailed statement released Sunday night, Austin said that he is fully vaccinated and received his booster shot in October, which he says has made the infection "much more mild."

"As my doctor made clear to me, my fully vaccinated status — and the booster I received in early October — have rendered the infection much more mild than it would otherwise have been. And I am grateful for that," Austin said.

WNU Editor: He is double-vaccinated and had a booster shot in October.

By the sound of it. His symptoms are the same as mine when I contracted Covid over a week ago. Running nose/sore throat/migraine/and feeling tired for 2 - 3 days.

So this is the guy firing people in the military for not getting the vaccine? The same vaccine he took THREE shots of and still got infected with?

Look at the positive in this article. Austin actually took a good picture. I think a 3 quarters profile works for him.

I agree with 9:54 mostly.

At Austin's age and with his portliness, vaccines may be worth the risk.

Can the same be said of people 40 and under, who are physical fit and/or have not underlying co-morbidities? If Austin does not understand this or if he is going along to get along, then he is not bright or honest enough for the job.

Best news of the day. Hopefully he is sick and in bad shape. Vaccines worked great!
