Yahoo News: Could Omicron be the final Covid variant of concern?
Covid-19 is likely not going to be eradicated, instead, it could eventually circulate like the flu — and one thing is for sure, Omicron likely won't be the last variant.
Writing for The Conversation earlier in December, postdoctoral research fellow at the University of Cambridge, Ben Krishna, who specialises in Immunology and Virology, said while Omicron won't be the last variant, it could be the last variant of concern.
It's not likely SARS-CoV-2, the virus which causes Covid-19, will disappear completely.
"If we are lucky, and the course of this pandemic is hard to predict, SARS-CoV-2 will probably become an endemic virus that slowly mutates over time," he wrote.

Yes, after theNovember 2022 election it'll vanish.
It could end quickly judging how successful parts of India and Japan were by using Ivermectin
Our politicians are so corrupt and evil though that they secretly take ivermectin , while lying about it and denying everyone this very effective and cheap treatment
Even if the virus were to disappear, we now have to deal with years of instability and tyranny during which these politicians try to escape their fair punishment (death) after what they've done to all of us, and children
And they'll try to escape capital punishment.. you'll see..we will deal with them but our societies will still suffer decades from now for what they allowed to happen and made worse still through their lies,censorship and "health" protocols that border mass murder
It'll get bloody, I don't see any way around it, because the Media still covers for them, being guilty in this crime
