Chinese President Xi
Gordon G. Chang, Gatestone Institute: Will Xi Jinping's 'End of Days' Plunge China and the World into War?
* Xi Jinping, China's mighty-looking leader, has an "enormous array of domestic enemies." — Gregory Copley, president of the International Strategic Studies Association and editor-in-chief of Defense & Foreign Affairs Strategic Policy, to Gatestone Institute, February 2022.
* Xi created that opposition. After becoming China's ruler at the end of 2012, he grabbed power from everyone else and then jailed tens of thousands of opponents in purges, which he styled as "anti-corruption" campaigns.
* Beijing is panicking, adding nearly a trillion dollars in total new credit last month, a record increase.... When the so-called "hidden debt" is included, total debt in the country amounts to somewhere in the vicinity of 350% of gross domestic product.
* Not surprisingly, Chinese companies are now defaulting. The debt crisis is so serious it can bring down China's economy—and the country's financial and political systems with it.

WNU Editor: I do not see Chinese President Xi being removed from power. While he has made many enemies, there are still many more who are dependent on him continuing his rule.

It's Mr. asshole Gordon Chang again, so we all know this article is full of bs and he's 100% wrong.
Gordan Chang has a column, but the ever so bright 12:18 does not have one. Poor dude.
Gordie hates his yellow skin.
Change seems like a decent man but he knows his audience. These types of articles and news hits get him clicks and air time.
Chang* autocorrect
Is Chang wrong? Am I wrong? There will be a war. I just get the kick off date wrong. Getting the date wrong does not mean that someone somewhere is not planning military action and is merely waiting for the opportune time.
Invaders can miscalculate, but it does not mean they do all the time. Some are like surfers eyeing the waves and waiting for their set.
And why shouldn't would be invaders be confident? All they see is other so called "leaders" running down their militaries, rigging elections and generally making a mess of things.
Chang often talked about the financial troubles, housing bubble and so forth @China. He's not wrong about any of this.
However he's a bit too optimistic about China collapsing just like that and his analysis is tailored to the fast food consumer market@readers
I hear so many liberals bellyaching that Chang is wrong and yet he is better than so many politicians, who haven't a clue.
Pro-tip: With that being the case you belly aching and caterwauling falls on deaf ears.
Pro-tip #2. Why #2? Because you really need the help bub.
Even coyotes keep score. Maybe Chang's score card is 70% and I can do better with someone who bats higher. But so much bullshit is thrown up like flak you can walk on that there is less time to find those people. Also people complaining about Chang act so much like Briar Rabbit. So I'll stick with Chang.
