* Scandal-hit Credit Suisse rejects allegations it may be ‘rogue bank’

A massive leak from one of the world’s biggest private banks, Credit Suisse, has exposed the hidden wealth of clients involved in torture, drug trafficking, money laundering, corruption and other serious crimes.

Details of accounts linked to 30,000 Credit Suisse clients all over the world are contained in the leak, which unmasks the beneficiaries of more than 100bn Swiss francs (£80bn) held in one of Switzerland’s best-known financial institutions.

The leak points to widespread failures of due diligence by Credit Suisse, despite repeated pledges over decades to weed out dubious clients and illicit funds.

The Guardian is part of a consortium of media outlets given exclusive access to the data.

It is old news.

Imelda Marcos? As head of the country she has been out of power since 1986. She has been out of power for a generation and change (36 years). Abacha has been out of power since 1998. Without looking it up what percentage of reporters know the name Abacha?

The Swedish computer tech. His crime was not paying people off enough or not being a local. You could find a hundred places like his old operation in The Phillipines.

How many Ukrainians and other women were displayed in Czech Republic and visited by Good Germans or worked in Amsterdam. Of course there was no human trafficking there.

Credit Suisse is correct. Much of it is old news. Some of it is still going on at Credit Suisse and elsewhere. Miami was built on money laundering.

These reporter are acting more like historians than reporters. And that is the point.

The net closes on Hunter: First son's ex-girlfriend, 28 testifies for five hours to grand jury in tax probe about how he lived in Chateau Marmont for a month - where he learned to cook crack - and gave her thousands of dollars to spend

Why worry about past kleptocrats and not about current ones?

'I expect nothing to happen unless the DNC wants something to happen.

The DNC might tell Jill and Ron Klain they will resign or Hunter faces the music in court.
