Zero Hedge: US Delivers 500-Ton Weapon Shipment To Ukraine As Blinken & Lavrov Talk
Another day in the ongoing Russia-Ukraine standoff and another US weapons shipment has arrived in Kiev, despite all sides ostensibly continuing to push for a diplomatic solution and the avoidance of military conflict.
On Tuesday Ukraine Defense Minister Oleksii Reznikov announced his country has received a new shipment of "500 tons of defense equipment" from the United States. "The day hasn’t passed yet and we’re unloading the 6th bird from our friends from the U.S.! 84 tons of ammunition arrived in Kyiv!" he wrote on Twitter.

WNU Editor: This military commentator for RT believes these shipments will not make a difference .... Would the weapons NATO sent be enough to protect Ukraine if war broke out? (RT).
I have a different take.
These shipments do make a difference. Not only on the tactical military level, but also on the geopolitical message that it sends.
These shipments also sets a precedent, with it now being acceptable to send these lethal weapon systems to Ukraine.

If Russia has a "massive military force assembled on it's borders" and is ready to invade at any moment for several months now, what Ukraine needs is at the very least a NATO army corps, not small arms and ammunition that will be either destroyed on the first day by missile strikes or be captured by Russian troops after the fact

"The Ukrainian president, Volodymyr Zelenskiy, said last week that Russia had amassed nearly 100,000 of its soldiers near Ukraine’s border, as Washington warned that Moscow may be “attempting to rehash” its 2014 invasion."
lol, if Russia were to invade Ukraine it would be with far more than 100k and if it had invaded in 2014 they wouldn't be on the same border

So is 100,000 massive or not enough Caecus?
